I am thinking of buying my 3rd Maverick and if I decide to get one it will be a Lobo. Has anyone lowered one yet on springs? I don't want coilovers or air bags, just a nice drop spring. After the long painful issues with the first round of eibach springs on my last one I was thinking of the Goodwin Racing springs? Just curious if you guys have lowered yours yet?

I have seen a few in Facebook groups. They used existing AWD lowering spring kits, I believe I've seen eibach and goodwin.

they're going to look like any other Maverick with those lowering springs, plus painted bumpers and factory fog lights.

I get it though. yes, hopefully we get some more stuff on MTC soon.

Yea, I can kind of imagine what it would like from old pics of mine, but...seeing one already done would be better.

Dang that looks perfect. I would love to know how it rides but I’ve never met anyone who bought springs for anything admit it’s worse than factory. I’m going to have to try these if I end up getting a Lobo.
I've only had them on since yesterday afternoon. Took a few mile loop around the my house. Its a bit stiffer but improved handling is the give back. I hesitate to say its a massive improvement since i haven't pushed it that hard but its definitely better than stock.

It’s always tough to find out what the real ride is like on lowered vehicles because no one wants to say it’s worse than stock after spending a bunch of money.
a number of people who have installed coilovers have said that, typically only after asked or after they've sold their coilovers and gone back to stock or lowering springs.

I've had coilovers on 2 cars that I autocrossed. I would definitely not put them on my Maverick.

Eibach sent me pictures of their test lobo with their lowering kit.

this is pretty cool because if there is significantly different valving in the Lobo struts, Eibach will see that and be able to develop different springs suited for that, compared to the standard AWD struts & springs.

or, if there's nothing sufficiently different to warrant a spring rate change, at least they tested it.
