I achieved a milestone of sorts financially, making the last payment on my '23 Lariat a few weeks ago. I made a substantial down payment, financed the balance for 48 months and was able to pay it off in 39. Just in time for partial retirement starting in July! I am just as pleased with my Mav as the day I picked it up from the dealership in March 2023.

Outstanding !

I officially retired when I was 57,
That lasted three months.
I needed to work to stay sane. Been part time ever since.

Sitting is the new smoking,
Sitting in a recliner is a practice session for a coffin.
The grind is over, treat yourself good.
Don’t sit down and start watching TV as it will rot your brain and make you fat and soft.

The grim reaper is after you, make him suffer.

Want to be healthy ? Want to age well ?

Congrats! 🤠

I did the same last fall.... made the final payment on the 0%/36 when my Maverick order came in, financed 100% since it was free money. 65K miles later, still love it, it's a keeper! For me, I can't think of a better overall DD than the Maverick.....

So Part Time work has kept you Partly sane??? Seems logical. Of course, being crazy also keeps you from going insane.................

I paid for mine in total the day I picked it up. My wife and I owe nothing except monthly pays.
I paid mine off the day I bought it. My wife got 0% financing and paid her car off with no interest over time.
I would have to say financially that she made the better choice for holding her money and increasing her credit score, but I just don’t like loans… even if they’re basically just a deferral payment.

Congratulations, glad you paid it off and are also happy with it.
Enjoy.
