It does not, up and down only, no adjustment for the tilt.

My 26 hybrid Lariat only goes up & down.
I would think in a wreck you would not want it move forward/back. Probably pretty expensive to pass the crash test

Can you imagine the investment in crash test & certification they would have to do just to sell 10's of them?

I have doubt they would do so. This would modify a critical safety component, would have to be crash tested, etc. which is a long way from accessories as they currently produce.

I guess thats why I havent seen an actual replacement just add-ons.

There's a ratcheting locking mechanism that prevents it from tilting back unless tilted fully forwards first.
