Glad I got my cloth seats down in South Texas. I sweat even on high quality leather which i have in my old Lexus. Never had an issue with the cloth seats in my Wrangler as well.

With any leather, Ventilated is a bare minimum, and IME most ventilated seats have a very disappointing amount of airflow.

The Lexus RX 350 I had with ventilated leather seats were great. They blew cool air on the seat and back. It was great. My F-150 with leather seats had no ventilation and we were hot.

I went to Big Lots, bought 2 kitchen chair pads in a very close to OEM color for $4.99. They work great, don't move when I slide out. I'm cheap as I have posted before. I like the color of my Lariat seats with the Atlas Blue exterior but would have preferred they were cloth.

Here's a great example of why I would not accept non-ventilated leather or active-x plastic seat covering. Specially black or dark color.

First picture is the temperature of my wife's Escape couple days ago it was 104°

This ☝🏻picture is the temperature of the vinyl armrest. The next picture is the temperature of the fabric seat bottom.
Today, I didn't bother to check it was 108°

My first new car was a black 1970 Pontiac GT-37 with black vinyl seats and no air! I know what you are talking about, but my ActiveX seats are not even close to the heat on those seats! I peeled my burned legs off them more than once!

I put tan canvas Carhartt seat covers on and I key fob start my Lariat and let the cabin cool down before I get in.

That’s why I do ceramic film and use a sunshade and reflectix for my side windows

Yep I agree.
Not having seats covered in recycled plastic bottles called ActiveX helps the most.

Mine always stay cool. Now I’m not dealing with desert heat but would bet the ceramic + reflectix would still be effective.

Like you said you're not dealing with 110° plus degrees.
I'm not about to spend $150 on a damaged windshield that has a Safelite repair. This is the chip I got 2 years ago coming back from the Grand Canyon on the 4th of July.

Maybe if I end up getting a new windshield at some point
