I have the XLT trim. Purchased seat covers from Mabett. They’re the best fitting seat covers purchased. They’re the most challenging to fit but that’s what makes them the best I’ve put on.

They aren't real leather so they should be pretty durable and easy to clean. If they ever did break down, there are aftermarket options for replacement.

I feel like I would save up and once the seats get truly messed up, get it reupholstered.

Just go to Ford parts, buy current trim covers (perhaps cushion foam too, they get worn also) and store in closet. Best fitting covers made. Then in a few years, replace worn out covers. Too easy to swap out.
