Going uphill at interstate speeds is going to wreck your gas mileage, but you can go over 110 fairly easily. You'll end up with low 30s MPG for the whole trip.

I drove my 2024 Maverick Hybrid from Northeast Massachusetts to Naples Florida and back. No issues at all. The Hybrid effortlessly gets into the 80-90 MPH range. If you stay around 65 MPH gas mileage will be better of coursePLANING a drive from the northern Tiers of PA in my Maverick hybrid to Myrtle Beach. Will be taking interstates most of the way. Some speed limits reach 70+ mile per hour. Will my 2024 Hybrid be able to handle it? Anyone have any experience making such a trip?
There are no stupid questions. Just stupid answers.I think this post is the official sign that we've run out of topics here on Maverick Truck Club. Either that or you have to be trolling, there's no other explanation. What an idiotic post.
Have driven my 24 hybrid XL several times from NEPA to Ocean City, MD. Shorter drive than what you are planning, but should be no issuesPLANING a drive from the northern Tiers of PA in my Maverick hybrid to Myrtle Beach. Will be taking interstates most of the way. You are kidding right? Bought my 23 Lariat in Del Rey, Fla in Nov 23 after waitng 11 months for my order. Bought it there because all the dealers in Los Angeles wanted wayyy over list, some as high as 10k. Paid sticker. Got what l wanted, every option box. Drove South to Key West, then back North and across the U.S.. visited friends everywhere. Never below 75 on the interstate. Truck drove like a dream. I live in de and Just got back from Tennessee in my 25 Hybrid. Lots of 70 mph driving. Not only did it handle it easily, but passing at these speeds was a piece of cake. "I ain't scared,Now the boys all thought I'd lost my sense
And telephone poles looked like a picket fence
They said, "Slow down, I see spots
The lines on the road just look like dots"

Good insights! I’ll add to your seat tips - it feels different after 600 miles in the saddle than it does after 62 miles. Pack a pillow just in case.More the question - will you be able to handle the seat for extended sit times?
Any new vehicle with low mileage/usage has the opportunity to surprise you on it's first extended road trip, for items that might have eventually had a problem anyway at so many miles/hours of use.
Have you not been on the interstate yet to get a feel for it?
That could be a likely bigger problem, not knowing how it handles at high speeds in emergency maneuvers.
Long trip you are increasing your odds of idiot drivers around you.
I'd say if you take corners at 5 mph just because - pick it up and learn how it feels.
Yep - squirming and clinching only helps for maybe 30 seconds. I carry a pillow too just in case. When I'm in the truck any longer than 2 hours I need to add a pillow to the seat. There just isn't enough padding.
