I can not do recall software on my 24

I was told has to be 25 and newer

All I know of was told

It will update the sync radio stuff but not major updates like a recall

Infotainment center updates.
That's why I said the last one that matters to ours is from the backup camera recall.
If you got that - you got the latest.
The recall can't be OTA, but that recall included what we can get OTA.

I received a message that I will be receiving the software update over the air for Safety Recall 25C69 for my 25 XLT Hybrid.
Hoping it goes smooth.

I let mine do the update yesterday, it took about 16 minutes.

No, there was nothing I went to specifically get the software update. I received a message on the screen that said that the software was available and it was going to install automatically the following day. This will only work as long as you have you have your settings set for automatic updates along with available times. I would go into your screen Settings and double check that everything is "set" to what you want especially in the Automatic Updates category.

Yes, mine was also updated last night while parked in the garage.

When I drove it today, initially the "My View" settings were changed. I was hoping that the update may have fixed the glitch with the settings not being retained, reverting to the same incorrect settings, and needing to be reset. Every. Single. Bloody. Day. But alas, after I reconfigured it, it still has the same problems.

This one installed today. I'm still missing the one that was announced in March. And I'm unsure about the airbag indicator light. I THOUGHT it was repaired last year when I had an oil change, but my app and online account still says it is unresolved. I guess I'll see later this month. I have an appointment scheduled for the 28th.

I also have the Trailer Module Reprogramming Recall 26C10 from March showing up on my app “to do list” for the dealer.

Had this one last week, less than 20 minutes. They spent more time filling out their paperwork than they did the actual update

i could have just waited?? i had to take mine to the dealer and leave it there for 5 hours....then go back and pick it up when they were done. i specifically asked why a software update couldn't be done OTA...i got the honest answer "i don't know".

Wish I'd waited too. All day at dealership. Originally stated OTA update, then a letter I needed to schedule an appointment, which I did.
