I've only had my '24 for a year and a half, and I'm just past 12K miles.

I have no intention of getting rid of it. I've owned five vehicles in my life. I still have all but one of them, and the only reason I don't still have that one is that it was stolen in 1994.
Your like me, I keep my vehicles a long time 😃

So today marks 3 years since we bought our xlt ecoboost . Zero issues at 44,000 miles. The factory continentals all look the same never being rotated and perform well in our northern michigan winters. The factory paint still looks new after waxing once every spring with paste wax for about 3 dollars. First and subsequent oil changes done at 5k. No trans fluid change, no RDU fluid change. Original battery and brakes.i did have two factory recalls which were done while the vehicle was at my wife's work. We regularly tow a 3000 lb boat with it. Get over 30 mpg hwy Overall. Hoping to get 15 years out of it like our dodges. very pleased with the " half a truck" as my wife calls it 😆
I still have my 2023 xlt hybrid that I bought in October 2023. No issues really, but I only have 6200 miles on it, battery gets low because I'm retired and don't use it alot.

Coming on almost 4 years and 22,500 miles. Everything is original. Just waiting for the weather to improve to do the annual waxing and with NuFinish.

I'm shocked at the positivity in this thread, I legitimately thought all Mavericks were like mine.

Bought new in 22, 120K kms on it.

Too many recalls to count.

RDU sensor failed and thank goodness I replaced it myself and didn't pay the dealer $1000 to do it.

CEL Light on now for a emissions issue that is wiring related.

Those stupid little rubber seals on the cab that were never attached properly.

Stock tires didn't last 25K kms.

Currently scheduled to have my axles replaced under the CSP because all of the original ones were trash.

Deep Sleep Issues.

And my Dealer has gone out of their way to ruin my experience pretty much every time, including multiple day airbag recall process because they forgot to plug in the new airbags, and dinging my door hard enough that they it needed time in a body shop that did a terrible job repairing it.

When I bought my truck it was 10G less than other options I considered. I decided the 10G was worth the inevitable problems I would have owning a first year ford (FYI, I previously owned a 2013 Focus from new that was the worst vehicle and worst dealer experience I'll ever have in my life guaranteed, so I knew what I was getting myself into). I still think the Maverick was the right choice for me, I'm not sure I'd sign myself up to do it again at this point. But we'll see how long I can keep this truck going, I plan to maintain it and drive it as long as I can.

I wish I knew the code.

When I went in for my service appointment, they said it would take 2 weeks to look at the code and then 1 week to fix whatever was wrong.

No loaner. I did not let them keep the truck for 3 weeks to check the code.

I have a cheap AutoZone OBD II Scanner tool. Next time the CEL goes off, I will try that.
I was just wondering if it was a P0402. I had that one come and go for about the last 3 months.

2023 XL Hybrid FWD, hitch, rear window, inverter options only. 3 years end of May for me. 19k miles. No Sleep, no axles, yet. First service event 2 weeks ago got a "pedestrian sounder" fault but that's been it. Cannot be happier with my purchase for what I paid in 2023. 10 year/100k with Granger Ford ESP for safety. 42.4 MPG lifetime. I've had fun making it my own, still a few projects left.

4 years at the end of the month almost 38k miles, few recalls, a battery replaced under warranty, changed the tyres like 2 months ago, besides for recalls my maverick doesn't visit the dealer for nothing all the service are done by the technician at my home.

Only regret is that I didn't got the truck spec as I wanted but was in a need for a truck rush so couldn't wait. And now days have other priorities so the change of truck have to wait a bit longer.

2022 Maverick Lariat here. Purchased new in January of '22 when finding the Holy Grail was easier. 18K and still get excited about driving it if only for short errands.

I would still have my '22 Cyber Orange if my oak tree hadn't decided to nap on it, just under 70k miles. After 13k in sheet metal replacement it was traded for my current '25 which now sits at 45k. No major issues mechanically with either truck

Having a dealer is like having a neighbor. Good ones can make life enjoyable, bad ones can be irritating as hell.
