Light Blue / Robin's Egg Blue Maverick

We got in a Light Blue Maverick XL that we added some Drag wheels. What do you think?

I'm a huge fan when Ford shakes up the color pallette. There are too many drab vehicles on the road. I wish Ford would bring two tone to the Maverick. I think this blue might look great with a black cab and black trim on the splash panels.

I like the wheels a lot. I saw one of those in person last week and the color is brighter than pictures show.

This blue is nice but I hope by the time I trade in my 2024 they redesign the front end.
I still don’t like the 2025 and up.
I did see a shadow black one. That looked ok.

I realize you probably did that to keep the stock tires.

I agree on the two-tone thing, but I think it calls for white accents, a la the Heritage edition Bronco and Bronco Sport, rather than black. But I do think black accents would be *easier* because of all the existing black plastics. Adding white is very much paddlung upstream.

First pic is my tailgate. Second is one possibility of how to extend the white bits further, but I'm not 100% sold just yet.

Absolutely. Eruption is a fantastic color. I very nearly bought a '25 because of it (the announcement of Light Blue stayed my check-writing hand).

But I'd much rather trade it for one the more boring perennial colors than the ~2 annual fun colors.
