So by your thought process, and insinuation, then J.W. Automotive Engineering was the same as what you are implying with light blue? You may know who they are? The back back Le Mans winning GT40 Gulf Oil sponsored team in '68 & '69?

Dude, it's a flipping color and nothing more! You need help, talk to a therapist, get a dog, take a vacation, or just go outside and touch grass, I dunno. 🤷 You are thinking way too deep on this.

And I just ordered this color for my 2026 that will replace my 2023 leased Atlas Blue. Can't wait to see it and work on my "Gulf" theme! 👍
Son,

You dug back deep in this thread for that one. :teehee:

What would incent you to dig back so deep to attack me?

If you are attempting to throw your Ford weight around, I'm just an old guy with a few cars dating back to my first GT500 in 1977.

[EDITED} SORRY, my very first car in 1973, a '71 B1 car. (the predecessor of my original Ford BOSS car ownership/obsession)

If you are referring to the Gulf Livery GT40s cars, I'm fairly familiar :teehee: I purchased my very early Paxton GT350 from Brian B. in NorCal, You'll probably know him, right? 427 and (very early) 289 Cobra, Gulf GT40, my meager GT350, etc..

Careful who you troll.

That new light blue is very nice and certainly very fitting of you, I'm sure it matches your eyes.....

But why you so mad?

Give it up John. Old timers bicth when people DON'T read the entire thread, now you bitch if someone does. Your comment to ME then was out of line and your defense of it now is also. Please put me on your ignore list so I don't have to see your ridiculous BS.

1) I‘ve said nothing to you in this thread that was out of line, post up what you feel I said that has hurt your feelings..

B) I see you don’t know how the “ignore” feature works in a Forum…

Have a calm, tranquil day…..

Here's your reply to me that @05FordGT replied about.
"You realize what color light blue that is, right?

"Not that there's anything wrong with it""
It was boorish, inappropriate, juvenile, and unrelated to the Maverick in anyway other than your personal bias. Your need to list your pedigree to speak on Fords, colors, etc. to @05FordGT is also boorish.
Good day and keep looking for colors that TRIGGER your insecurities.
EDIT: Sorry I didn't answer your part 2, very rude of me. Yes I do know how ignore works on this forum. If you ignore ME then you won't see my posts. Since you don't see my posts I won't have to see your replies to them. I call that a win win. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Glad you like the color. It is an acquired taste for sure. The bad thing being that as the paint ages it will look faded out more and more than when new. Yellow has the same effect. Both start to look dirty over time.

Calm down everyone. Light Blue will soon follow Eruption Green‘s discontinuation.

But what abomination in the sight of God color will Ford offer next?
Hum maybe Pink, my mom had a pink and white dodge in the 50’s. GM did pink Cadillac’s and others for Mary Kay cosmetics back in the day

I don't dislike or appreciate the color. It's something that I may or may not chose.

If you were of adult age, you would understand that "Not that there's anything wrong with it" was a clip from a Seinfeld episode.

I've said nothing that should offend you, YOU clearly are triggered. perhaps unhappy with yourself. IDK

Not that there's anything wrong with that

Stop being a little cry baby..May I commission you to paint me something I'M not far away?
