Vehicle frequently shakes when accelerating. I can feel it, passenger can feel it. If you have a bag or something it the seats, you can hear it shake.
Noticeable when accelerating. More noticeable under load (like accelerating uphill or accelerating rapidly). Seems to be more noticeable when accelerating while turning (possibly more when turning left). When it does this and I let off the accelerator, the issue gets better immediately.
It doesn't always do, this but most of the time. Sometimes when accelerating I don't notice it as much, but others it is really pronounced.
Sounds like the CV axle to me. Should dealer be able to confirm while driving? I don't want them to try to stick me with a huge diagnostic fee if they claim it's something else outside of warranty. vehicle has (50k).
Do they replace these in pairs or is there a way they test to see if each one is bad?
Should I get this addressed right away, or wait until next oil change? (Any concerns with tires wearing bad or safety issues?)
Thanks!
