The sensor is in the lower grille. Look up on the passenger side. That and the marker light wiring goes to a connector on the passenger side at the fender.
And so it is!

Had a wreck today where I t-boned a guy who entered the highway when he couldn't see what was coming. No airbags (surpised), no injuries, and I was able to drive it away.

I now have three trouble codes.

Any recommendations for the DTCs are appreciated.

It hasn't been adjusted yet, but I hope it's not a serious repair. I've seen too many threads on here where a minor-seeming accident was a total.
I assume you have collision coverage on a 2024 vehicle. So why are you worrying about codes? You're going to get it repaired. Let the collision shop worry about fixing that along with the damage.

I do have full coverage, but I'm also driving it for now. The other person is at fault, so I'm at the (slow) mercy of their insurance. I've yet to get a response from them. I wanted to make sure that none of the codes would cause permanent damage to parts that won't be replaced if I keep driving it as is. Looks like it will be fine.

I believe it's in the passenger fender well behind the well liner?

And not very accurate (too close to the road surface temp, I think), so no big loss!
If all it did was give the temperature reading on the dash, yeah it wouldn’t be a big deal. The thing is it also controls air intake to the engine, so in the end that means the air fuel mix, making the difference between it being correct, rich or lean. That has an impact on fuel use, and engine power.

The HVAC Module in my Maverick affected the temperature reading displayed on IPC when I did a HVAC module swap and Forscan edits to it for heated seats add.
The IPC reading was stuck at 50°F for a few run/stop cycles before it started displaying current temperature.
The HVAC module does have an input for the temperature/humidity sensor above the rear view mirror as well as the PCM data it seems.

412-00 Climate Control System - General Information 2023 - 2024 Maverick.

Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) Sensor
The Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) sensor is an input to the PCM.
If the outside air temperature is below approximately 0°C (32°F), the PCM does not allow the A/C compressor clutch to engage.
The PCM sends raw ambient air temperature data to the HVAC control module.
The HVAC control module filters the raw data, sends it to the APIM and the touchscreen displays the outside temperature.

After replacing an Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) sensor, the sensor data must be reset by following the menu prompts on the FDRS scan tool.

412-00 Climate Control System - General Information - General Procedures
Reset the Outside Air Temperature Sensor Learned Values Configuration
1. NOTE: The ambient air temperature sensor is a critical component for correct Air Conditioning (A/C) and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system operation.
Make sure after the reset is carried out the temperature is displaying correctly in the vehicle.
NOTE: The outside air temperature sensor is also referred to as the ambient air temperature sensor in this manual.
Using the diagnostic FDRS scan tool, follow the on screen prompts to run and reset the outside air temperature sensor learned values
Make sure after the reset is carried out the temperature is displaying correctly in the vehicle.

Sounds like an excellent deal. So, I called my State Farm agent and was told this type of plan is not offered by State Farm. Oh well..................
State Farm Is NOT a good insurance company. I would never sign with them, after the one time I did and they tried to screw me, Unsuccessfully. I canceled that policy in a flash.

No, but my personal satisfaction that I drew a childish response from you delights me to no end. Have a good night. Ask mom to reheat your hotpocket...it's gettin' cold down in her basement apparently.
