I’m feeling pretty good about finding rear seat area plastics whenever I find a wrecked one in a junkyard

Yep, No signs of extraction cuts anywhere and drivers area inside has plenty of room for a person. It depends on how moveable what they hit was, but if they died it was probably from sudden stopping and not being crushed.Click in copart link. Another pic shows drivers cabin area not crushed and front driver side wheel pretty much where it should be. Does not appear that the passenger side had to be cut up to extract someonr.
One of the photos shows the instrument panel. The speedometer is "pegged" at what looks like 73 or 74 mph.All depends on the speed of impact. Anything over 60MPH, anything is possible.
I'm going to lean on not. But there is plenty that is salvageable. I see one of them fancy constrained hitches everyone goes on about...Engine block may or may not be ok.
Not necessarily fatalities, but hazardous stickers means that it was exposed to human remains or bodily fluids. So even if there is only blood splatter and no fatalities, it will be marked that way.Definitely looks like it went under a semi and the red sticker means fatalities
More like 75mphLooks like the speedometer is stopped on near 60 mph in one of the pics
It could have been, the fatal was in the Aveo and there was no visible blood on the airbag in the Maverick. I noticed the speedo was about 75 and the tach a little over 2K which would be about right. There does not appear to be any signs of extrication of the driver so it could have been. Sad in so many ways.Wonder if it could be related to this? https://www.koat.com/amp/article/interstate-40-eastbound-closed-in-albuquerque-due-to-crash/42533404
Doesn’t say what type of ford truck was involved though
I typically look at Copart every few weeks and see what is a "totaled" Maverick. I saw this one and wow, hope everyone was ok .....
