Installed an SAE connector through the side of the fender garnish thing so I can trickle charge the car without having to pop the hood. Nice quality of life improvement, and I wonder if I can now technically park in charging spots if I plug my trickle charger into the outlet

today I got the front sides tinted to match factory

also added the tailgate assist.

What did I do? It's almost 80 degrees out so the Mav, averaging only 45-46mpg (the cold winter takes a toll on efficiency) is my gas hog so I'm on the motorcycle while the Mav takes a break.

The 4. (2.3L ecoboost) Will have plenty of power for what I tow. I needed to increase the hitch weight capacity. Maverick squatted too much at 400 pounds.

I like the new front-end. In the past the nose was to pointed, like a car.

I added those D hook tie downs in the front of the bed. Simple but I can use it a lot especially with a lawn mower and snow blower.

So in reality Ford was only first with this in the US. Looks like the exact same unibody carish vehicle. Ford has done a better job with a truck look, while adapting the Toyota hybrid drivetrain.

Yes, outside the US there are many choices in the Maverick sizing. The Chevy looks great… here’s the kicker. That Chevy TURBO kicks out a whopping 130hp. Current Compact trucks are not presentable to the US market. The Santa Cruz had the power but not the “truck”. The Maverick does everything right, including two engine options. The little Ram/Stellantis looks great too.

I finally installed the Redtiger dash+rear cam. I'm really happy with it.

Added USB and 12v outlet to one of the bed cubbies. Also added a switch so they're only switched on when I need them. I know power to the flexbed connectors times out, but no sense in powering them all the time when they will be used only occasionally.
