My Maverick saved me. Totaled in deer strike @ 75 mph

My “Baby Blue”. Saved me yesterday. Doingn 75 on the interstate and big deer decided to jump out of the long grass. Hit dead center at 75. Not a scratch on me, a little burn from the airbag but can’t believe I am still alive. It was like Grand theft auto. Hit the deer while airborne direct center hit on grill and through the deer about 10 feet in the air and across 2 lanes of traffic.

I am crushed that I can’t replace my Area 51 with a new one.
Really want the orange but wife and daughters have forbid.

That is crazy! The important thing is no person got injured.

I have a 2022 in Cyber Orange. I wasn't too sure about the color at first, but I have grown to love the color after a few months.

The only difference between the Cyber Orange and Orange Fury is that CO is more a yellow orange and the OF is more a orange yellow. Both are great colors. If something happened to mine now I would definitely go with the new Orange Fury.

Just get the Orange Fury. It will probably be a limited production run just like the Cyber Orange was.

Definitely get the Orange Fury. You only live once and need to take care of yourself FIRST, then those around you second. Hopefully you get a good settlement from insurance so you don't have to pony up too much more $$$. Keep us posted on what you end up doing.

My brother hit a horse with a 59 Pontiac. The horse ended up draped over the windshield. Probably doing about 45 or 50 and as it was on an Iowa gravel road. He had two small sons with him and no one hurt. Extremely lucky or a miracle!!!!!

I'm glad you're okay. Take care of yourself in the coming weeks - pain from crashes can come in waves.

Did the hood fly up during the crash? Not saying it could be prevented just curious.
