Someone sent me this today and I decided to do a deep dive here and figure it out.

Make sure hybrid is enabled:
7D0-02-02 xx8x xxxx xxxx

Enable the power flow menu:
7D0-02-02 xxx6 xxxx xxxx WITH climate bar enabled
7D0-02-02 xxx4 xxxx xxxx WITHOUT climate bar enabled (what you have pictured).
I don't have access to a hybrid so I can't actually confirm this works but I'm pretty sure it will. Report back with your findings!

If you just want to enable the climate bar layout:
Enable unreal theme:
7D0-02-03 xxxx xxx1 xxxx
Enable Climate bar for non-hybrid:
7D0-02-02 xxx2 xxxx xxxx

If things look weird or don't show up reboot the apim by holding power and next track for 10s or reprogram nothing into it, or reboot with FORScan.

As always any parts or programming you need for these upgrades check out www.oemplusupgrades.com!
Excellent, thanks so much. I had the hybrid enabled but adding the climate bar and unreal theme was helpful and looks good. Like @Bobert47, I see the trip screens but they don't change.

Two things to note, and maybe you know how to enable them. The Fuel Economy screen does not up date. It will show when it switches to electric but no fuel economy. Also the climate bar looks good but only displays the temp for the drivers side, not the passenger side, is it possible to enable this aslo?

Thanks again...very helpful!

So I'm running into a few issues :(

I have everything hooked up but the display is not powering. I bought the passthrough cable from OEM+ and the apim is giving me a code saying it lost communication with the nav display and body control module and the RCM is throwing a code for lost communication to the APIM.

It seems that Ford makes APIM with GPS and without GPS.
The GPS antenna connector should be there, but this APIM doesn't have it.

Does anyone know how to find a OE replacement cable for the GPS? During the install of my sync 4 module I ended up breaking the GPS cable so now I no longer have GPS in my ‘22 IE no more location availability for my truck thru the ford pass app.

Anybody have any spare parts or items from this swap they’re looking to part with? Struggling to find a cost effective screen or more recent APIM that will work.

Are you looking to do the 13” or 12” swap?

Either honestly! I do prefer the 12, but either would be nice. It just feels like every time I’m checking eBay it’s super expensive now. :/

The 12” transit screen seems to average about $350 or so. I had one for $250. The APIM just needs to be a sync 4 f-150 APIM that can support the 12” display. I think the one I ended up with was from a Lightning actually so I had to re do the whole as built.
All in I spent about $750 or so

Ford Maverick Sync4 APIM and 13.2" Screen Installation Guide (Lariat Models) IMG_1175

Does anyone here happen to know how essential or, hopefully, non essential these silver clips are after removing the screen? May have dropped one into the abyss 😬 Also does anyone know what size the screws are by chance?

Second version of my 13.2 screen installation. I've printed (with help of some expert in the 3d topic desing) 3 holders to adapt new Maverick screen.
Next step is an extender to the rear cover , because large screen has a gap between dash and the rear part of it.

It may seem counter intuitive… but I’ve had a randomly squeaky dash since I had an early service on my ‘22, and until I did the OEM Plus upgrade and found a screw missing, I didn’t know what or where it was.
that clip, holding the panel down in the center was missing a single screw and it squeaks randomly… but sounds like it’s coming from the gauge cluster. I just put my thumb on that spot and the sound goes away.
I cobbled together a random screw and got it secure.

Just finished up mine thanks to OEM Upgrades Plus. Overall a very smooth experience. Quality product and much cheaper than some other OEM alternatives. It took a little patience and less than an hour to get installed. The kit arrived in about two weeks! Great communication from the team there on shipping updates and tech support as well.

The one thing I would say about this after having it all day, if you have some particularly bumpy roads you are definitely going to notice a little vibration in the screen. Nothing crazy and it’s probably to be expected due to the nature of the mod. If your screen mount isn’t using the blue retaining clips like infotainment.com then you might notice it. Overall very happy!
