No more hate for the 2025 facelift's new front end design?

And it finally did!
BTW - Has anyone mentioned you bear a striking resemblance to George Peppard?
I love it when a plan comes together. ;)

Ok, not a “drastic” effect. Maybe .009 improvement?

Of course that much of a change in lambda would be enough to collapse the universe
The universe has a bit more frontal area.

Oh I would hate the no AC knobs as well
I thought that would bother me, and it did at first, but it actually doesn't after a very short time.

Humans have a varying ability to adapt, and the button to screen migration seems to be the way the automotive world in general is accelerating, like it or not.

The good news on the button to screen migration, is that the Mav screen actually performs well.
I've test driven others where that wasn't at all true.

With the fact that '25 ushered in the option to have both hybrid and AWD on the same vehicle, the positives outweigh the negatives, IMHO.
Of course the improved look to the front end goes without saying... but then I said it..

I can't see the outside when I'm on the inside smiling...

I think my Dad taught me that.

I knew that physics degree would pay off someday....
I never got that kind of use from mine, but it was spectacular for the hard core analysis for law school (seriously, the folks who do the best there are engineers, hard science, and math majors). nd the rigor of the math paid off on the economics ph.d.

It's like they were trying different things then, at the end of the day, they said f it, we'll just put that plastic flap there and go out for dinner.
It's like you were there in the design meeting... Where did they go out to eat?

I might trade my Maverick for that
Maybe I'm strange. And maybe it's because I'm looking at it 68 years later. But the front end doesn't look bad to me. It just looks unique. If I'd seen it for the first time without knowing all the history and without knowing all the things the front grille had been compared to, I would simply view it as just 1950s era over styling not unlike other vehicles of that era. If no one told me it was considered ugly at the time, I wouldn't know

I prefer the old 2022-2024 design. I don't hate the new design, I just like the old one better. To me the prior years design was simpler and more balanced looking.
I agree with you. I like the '22-'24 headlights better.

Truthfully, if no one had ever pointed out the '25 headlights, I probably would have never noticed.

I think the headlights on the 25 model are way cooler than the 22-24 headlights. Perhaps I am in the minority but that is okay with me...

We have more important things to worry about then the fashion of the front. As long as it doesn't look like an Edsel.

I like the 25 front end more than the prior versions, so much so I bought one like you did!
