I have thought it looks like An After Thought more than a design. Ford probably found the head lights and said "Let's make the front end fit these lights", instead of "Let's make the lights fit the front end"! JMO

That's fixable with a small amount of creativity.Front end in dark colors fine. Light colors, especially white, accent the ugly
Someone needs to use one of those ai contraptions to put a 2025 in a fish tank, sith a sales meter spinning wildly!there were people in this forum claiming that front end of the 2025 Maverick's was going to tank sales
If you ask a room with 12 attorneys a legal opinion, you will get at least 13 answers...

Either use a steep driveway, or jack up the front end of the f-150.Until I unloaded the 30 1.5 cubic feet bags of mulch last summer and thought man it was a lot easier unloading the mulch then when I had F-150's.
I have no idea of the drag coefficient of the Maverick. Haven't ever thought to check. But I suspect they're not significantly different because given the striving for getting every tenth of mpg in order to improve their CAFE, I doubt if they'd increase the drag on a vehicle. That just my opinion thoughExactly my point. I just included some background which led to that conclusion.
What was useful was that even the robot couldn't find it, as it isn't published.
Maybe @Darryl can take a peek..![]()
I knew that physics degree would pay off someday....@Blue_Max
Agreed - Considering that no reputable source appears to have been published, it's unlikely that a better answer than yours is forthcoming.
Ok, not a “drastic” effect. Maybe .009 improvement? The frontal area--a major component of drag coefficient--has not changed. It's a little smoother now, but that won't have a drastic effect on aerodynamics.
Oh I would hate the no AC knobs as welli don't get the hate. if you're spending all your time looking at the front of the car you're obviously not inside enjoying driving it..
You're right. The quest for getting the tiniest tweak of mileage efficiency for a fleet CAFE improvement doesn't translate into a better user experience.I have no idea of the drag coefficient of the Maverick. Haven't ever thought to check. But I suspect they're not significantly different because given the striving for getting every tenth of mpg in order to improve their CAFE, I doubt if they'd increase the drag on a vehicle. That just my opinion though
And it finally did!I knew that physics degree would pay off someday....

It's like they were trying different things then, at the end of the day, they said f it, we'll just put that plastic flap there and go out for dinner.I think for me it has the appearance of being an afterthought. I believe that is because it looks like a piece stuck on top of the bumper cover. IMO it would be better if it was attached to the grill or at least looked as if it were a continuation of the body from the fenders. Makes it look like erector set bumper pieces put together as an after thought. I Like the shape of the headlights but, the execution of the filler panel is lacking.
