It’s been a busy weekend for the Mav. Hauled the E-bikes down to Myakka River State Park for a ride. ( two hundred miles round trip ) This morning I picked up another load of concrete blocks for my retaining wall Project.

I towed too much:
Ford Maverick 🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today? 20260215_104402

Before the safety police hop on and say how I ruined my truck, unsafe conditions....I only towed it like 5 mph for 50 feet. Just far enough out of that driveway to unload it. After it was empty I pulled it a few hundred feet more and backed it into it's parking spot.

Nothing cool or impressive, but I put an anti-glare screen on my @infotainment 12” upgrade screen.

INNOSURE [Anti Glare] Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Ford E-Transit (2022/2023/2024/2025), Transit (2023/2024/2025) SYNC4 Infotainment 12" Touchscreen [9H] [Anti Fingerprint] (Matte) https://a.co/d/01lpwirN

Installed a Rough Country tri-fold tonneau cover. One of the prop rod brackets came from the factory broken but I called their customer support and they're sending me a replacement one at no cost. Took some tweaking get it lined up just right but I'm happy with how it turned out. The only thing I would do differently is make sure I get the weatherstripping on the bulkhead as straight as possible because having a tiny bit of it poking out from underneath the cover makes my OCD go wild. I'll probably fix it in the future but for now its good enough.

Looks great! Would be interested to hear what your assessment of water intrusion is after you’ve had it a while.

It comes with drain hoses, but I have the drop in shell liner so the drain holes are blocked. I could've removed the shell and drilled out a hole to run the drain hoses through the shell, but I live in a very dry area (only 10-15" of rain per year, about the same as San Diego) so I didn't see the point. If I start noticing a lot of water with what little rain we do get then I'll make those holes in the shell to run the drain hoses.

It looks just like the OEM Ford Hard Trifold cover

Started the installation of the WolfBox G900 TriPro Dash Cam. Unboxed and did a dry assembly inside house, read all the manuals and watched a few YouTube videos (anyone that can recommended one for the Maverick would be appreciate)

I removed the OEM Rearview mirror and mounted the WolfBox it was easy and a perfect fit with no straps. I also temporarily mounted the rear camera inside the cab behind the drivers seat on back glass

i powered up all the equipment using the 12 volt cigarette lighter socket looks good played around with the settings just to get familiar

i will be powering it using a fuse tap so looked at the wiring route to the fuse box under passenger side dash.

Popped a few trim pieces for test run this was less scary than I first thought still thinking of how to run wires from top of WolfBox through black cover above mirror to access and tuck wires cleanly as well as rear camera route

enough for today I’m retired so no need to hurry

So I pilfered this post from one of my motorcycle groups. It’s fun to see what everyone is up to. (Other than that poor SOB whose cousin totaled his)
So its a couple days late, but over the weekend I added the modular bedliner from Ford, Added the receptacle panel on the drivers side bed, and added the Ford pork chop toolbox on the passenger side of the bed.

Tonight I will hopefully get the Rough Country hard bed cover on.
