It’s been a busy weekend for the Mav. Hauled the E-bikes down to Myakka River State Park for a ride. ( two hundred miles round trip ) This morning I picked up another load of concrete blocks for my retaining wall Project.

Looks great! Would be interested to hear what your assessment of water intrusion is after you’ve had it a while.Installed a Rough Country tri-fold tonneau cover. One of the prop rod brackets came from the factory broken but I called their customer support and they're sending me a replacement one at no cost. Took some tweaking get it lined up just right but I'm happy with how it turned out. The only thing I would do differently is make sure I get the weatherstripping on the bulkhead as straight as possible because having a tiny bit of it poking out from underneath the cover makes my OCD go wild. I'll probably fix it in the future but for now its good enough.

It comes with drain hoses, but I have the drop in shell liner so the drain holes are blocked. I could've removed the shell and drilled out a hole to run the drain hoses through the shell, but I live in a very dry area (only 10-15" of rain per year, about the same as San Diego) so I didn't see the point. If I start noticing a lot of water with what little rain we do get then I'll make those holes in the shell to run the drain hoses.Looks great! Before the safety police hop on and say how I ruined my truck, unsafe conditions....I only towed it like 5 mph for 50 feet. Just far enough out of that driveway to unload it. After it was empty I pulled it a few hundred feet more and backed it into it's parking spot.

So its a couple days late, but over the weekend I added the modular bedliner from Ford, Added the receptacle panel on the drivers side bed, and added the Ford pork chop toolbox on the passenger side of the bed.So I pilfered this post from one of my motorcycle groups. It’s fun to see what everyone is up to. (Other than that poor SOB whose cousin totaled his)
