Anyone used this 12v Battery as a replacement to the OEM Battery?

When its time for a new battery, it will be an Odyssey replacement. I have never been stranded with an Odyssey battery... Pricey, but they always outlive their warranty.

my company (aviation freight outfit)did a change to agm batteries decades ago. used Enersys Genisis model,they also make the Odessy brand batteries.
we had such good use that we had to set a replacement date ,six years. After that the used ones got recycle into vehicle use. I had one in my mower lasted ten years. Enersys are built in Warrensburg MO.

I haven't seen anybody post about that brand of battery before.
That is a great price, but it only has a 12-month warranty.
My personal preference. All Things Considered. Including the fact that a lot of Mavericks don't have a great reputation for battery longevity.
I would rather go with a Walmart Ever-Start Platinum H4 battery with a 4-year warranty.
I will pay quite a bit more for the security of knowing my battery has a four year warranty and the convenience of Walmart being just about everywhere.

I bought a battery from Walmart one time. I will never do it again. It went bad after a month. Took it to have them swap it out. They tested it and said it was good... it wasn't. I took it to Autozone, Oreillys, and a trusted mechanic. They all tested it and said it was bad. Took the printouts from all three places and Walmart still refused to help me.

I've never had a problem with warranty claims on any Automotive, truck or boat battery I have bought from Sam's or Walmart.
As a matter of fact there's a Duracell battery in my smart car from Sam's and my wife, has a Walmart ever start battery in her Escape.

One time was enough for me to learn my lesson to never do it again. I worked at Auto Zone for a couple years and we would never not warranty a battery, even if it tested good.

the batteries we removed still checked good but we where all over the states and for maintainability and reliability of the aircraft. we had to be able to get the customer freight there reliably. yes we had failures that didn't make it the six years.

Has been said on this forum before that an
H-5 battery can fit the hybrid if you bend or remove a metal tab on the vehicle battery mount. The H-5 does provide more reserve capacity, but the H-4 is the proper size.

I have an H5 AGM that I put in my truck on 05/11/2024. I just did the forscan change to 95% after fully charging up the battery and then I reset the BMS. H5 will fit. H6 is too wide.
