2025 Maverick Fog Lights non-Lobo Trims?

I was watching a few of the Ford media events unveiling the 2025 Maverick and I noticed in one of The Fast Lane Truck's videos when he is discussing the Trailer Brake he is in the XLT - FX4 2.0 EcoBoost Maverick and the front lighting control shows a clear center button for Fog Lights.

I am curious with the introduction of the Lobo has the only trim with Fog Light available (XL, XLT, or Lariat are not available on the Order Guide or Price List) if Ford includes the wiring harness for fog lights. It is also completely possible that Ford had to borrow the lighting control model from a Lobo trim to get the XLT buttoned up for the media event.

All this is purely speculation (and wishful thinking ) until the 2025s start being delivered to customers, but I know manufacturers often include the wiring for fog lights when any trim includes them - I have run into this with Honda and Nissans in the past when just purchasing the OEM switches and light housing allow enabling the feature.

Griffin U | Sales and Service Representative answered, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but with the facelift going into the 2025 model year, it's unlikely that our fog light kit will fit. The '24 and previous Maverick actually wasn't available with fog lights at all; our kit cuts a portion of the bumper out and installs a modified bezel in its place to hold our F-150-style fog lamps. The '25 Maverick is available from the factory with fog lights, and it's pretty likely that it's the same unit, but we have not confirmed or tested this on a '25 for ourselves yet.

Once the LOBO starts being built, 1st quarter I have read, then will customers be able to buy the fog lights from FORD and put them on the truck we might have (XL, XLT, or Lariat)? Hopefully the wiring harness for fog lights is there.

In that video that was posted, the front of the 2025 Maverick (in Green) down where the fog lights go does not look that much different from the 2024 Maverick. Maybe I am not looking at it right.

Now we have to wait.

could have just used the wrong lamp control unit and the button was non functional.

Seeing as the f150 mod shows factory fog lights could have been an option. The Lobo uses a different bumper than other trims so it likely wont be transferrable aside from wiring.

DD only needs to make new bezels for the 25+ bumper and the rest of the kit transfers.

Like the guy stated, have to wait for units to come off the line & get to us customers.

Refreshing an older subject here. Once parts for the Lobo are available, I plan to explore a complete lower bumper fascia swap onto my 25 lariat. I’ll get a switch for an F150 Poweboost, some ForScan changes when the database expands for 25s, and run the wires from the BCM like factory. I followed others in doing this with my ‘23.

I haven't been able to find the part number for the fog lights yet and you probably need the pigtail wiring as well as the fog light switch. The lower facia pieces are pretty expensive.

The switch wouldn't be "plug-and-play" regardless because it is just a digital device that has to have the right programming associated with it to work correctly. But I believe it is the same switch as the MY22-24s (which itself was the same as the F-150s).

As cheap as this truck is (relatively speaking) it is VERY unlikely that Ford left much extra wiring in it, especially for fog lights that only come on one trim level that is arguably kindof a niche on its own.

Looked up the headlamp switch PNs for couple of 2025s for sale: Lariat, Lobo Standard.
Switches look like what's used in F150s, etc.

I had brackets created by the shop the installed my fog lights on my 2925 tremor. There's a guy on eBay that has Dutch and fog light brackets, they didn't work for me and he's a jerk, but it's an option.

Will Ford dealer parts sell you the fog lights, bracketing, new push button as an upgrade kit so that us DYI guys can install it ourselves. I have a 2025 Lariat 360 cameras, 4 K tow package.

I am waiting for confirmation from Diode Dynamics that their 2022 to 2024 kit will fit my 2026 Maverick Lariat. The bumper unit looks identical to my brother 2023, but it would be nice to be sore before ordering. They provide a great installation video
