Magnusson-Moss, blah blah, blah - but the reality is clear: if an owner modification to a vehicle causes damage, the burden of proof is on the OEM to show that the modification did the damage, and even then, the warranty coverage the OEM can deny is limited to whatever specific damage is caused by the modification.

The company [ripping off Diode Dynamics] is the one claiming that installing LED lights will void their own product warranty for, ironically, a set of LED lights.

Fair. I was definitely missing that context. When someone just says "it will void your warranty" that could mean 1,000,000 different things, and while I read the thread, I was never in the market for these - so I mostly glossed over the weirdness of the product.
