So I am sitting in my truck on lunch watching a TV show, after like 35mins of my lunch I get out of the blue these 4 alerts. Already called the dealer and they can't get me in till April 11th. They told me as long as the truck doesn't behave abnormally or feel unsafe that I can continue to drive it.

I am baffled other than something randomly just faulted, nothing I have done even touches these systems on my truck. I have added wheels and tires using the factory TMPS sensors and those are functioning fine. I have added audio, again nothing connected to the ABS or those other systems.

My biggest fear is the dealer is going to see the audio in progress and flip out and blame that for this issue. So I am tempted to put the back seat back in which isn't a hard thing to do, just kinda annoying so they don't just immediately see the rear seat gone and go, ok this is why.

Will a standard ODBII reader read the codes from this truck?

Dealer and Ford would have to prove that your audio install is causing issues with those systems to deny your warranty claim.

I use a BlueDriver for all my code reading. Its a bluetooth adapter with app. Works awesome. I think the adapter is like $99. It will read codes. Reset lights. Freeze Frame. Sensor monitoring. List common fixes etc.

There have been a few similar cases but looks like none of them have reported back if it was successfully repaired.

Although some of those could have been related to this service message but that shouldn't apply as yours is a '23.

There was also another instance where some rodents had nibbled on the rear wire harness:

So went to drive home, I noticed I had no power steering, so I was moving the steering wheel back and forth to see how it was gonna be on the drive home. And no more than 10 seconds later, everything was fine again. All lights gone, all systems that where not usable are fine. I am going to keep the appointment with the dealer just in case this comes back before April 11th.

Not sure but the ford pass app still shows the 4 alerts even though they are not active in the truck.

Hi all,

I had this same problem on my '23 hybrid. After 3 visits to the dealer and waiting for parts to arrive, I got it fixed. I want to report back here so that other users can get a better idea of the cause. My dealer didn't do a good job communicating with me exactly what the cause was because they went through multiple iterations trying to solve it, but here is what I know.

They first diagnosed it as a bad wheel speed sensor, which may have been the case, but they ultimately had to replace a wiring harness and repair a couple wires that they said were rubbing on something near my front left wheel. I'm assuming that the wires that were affected were the ones responsible for transmitting the wheel speed signal. I also had an engine air leak error in Ford Pass, that was resolved with the wiring fix.

I just had a replacement done with the right rear wheel speed sensor. Only 300 miles on the truck and all the fault lights lit up. They have me the bad one and it was cracked open with exposed wiring. Mechanic puzzled as to what would have caused it. BUT because it was a damaged part and not a defect, I had to pay for it.....not happy about that.

I also have this problem. When I got in the truck, full panoply of errors: ABS, Hill Start Assist, Pre-Collision Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Check Engine, and no error for this but the power steering was barely there. Dealer replaced Left Rear speed sensor. That did not fix the issue and all the alarms came back on yesterday. Most of the errors clear after 2-3 key cycles. Problem seems to be aggravated by exposure to wet weather, and has only presented when starting the car, not while driving it. (Both incidents occurred in an outdoor parking lot in rain/snow) Going back to dealer on Tuesday.

Edit: truck only has 4500 miles

Very similar issue for me this afternoon - got in to start and had a host of alerts presented hill Start, pre-collision, service vehicle soon, prepare to stop soon, and noted the shifter wasn't wanting to release from park, perhaps ABS (I didn't take notes as I was out doing errands).
Of note: hybrid, I do a lot of short 1 or 2 mile trips, the temperature this afternoon was about 10 degrees F and I had only driven about a mile (no issues prior) then left in parking lot for errands for about an hour, yesterday's storm took us from 35 degrees and wet/foggy to blizzard to clear and cold in about 24 hours. I'll have to look for wiring damage as this seems to be an issue with similar posts (we have a number of squirrels) but with parking outside and cold I may have to wait a day.
On the drive home I noticed there wasn't much of a coast mode, felt like it was in "gear" constantly and tending to accelerate with foot off the gas.
@Darnon thanks for the links.

If you have an OBDII reader or can stop by an auto store to find the code, it will give you a better idea of the issue and which corner it's on. For me, I cut the front right wiring off-road. Wasn't obvious at all.

Had O'Reily scan it yesterday - no primary DTC, additional powertrain diagnostic codes all communication related U0100/U010F/U1011/U1027/U1028. The U1028 J1850 Communication BUS fault is likely the root issue. At least I have a printed report to reference when I have it checked more toroughly.
Weather is currently milder (20's and 30's) with no issues but the forecast is for much colder over the next few days so I'll see what it feels like doing.

Measured your battery voltage lately on these colder mornings?

Lunch hour in the truck - was truck in Ready mode, or you turned off or only clicked on to Accessory mode?

Or had you turned truck off after driving, and still within 75 min of that?
