How to turn off autolock doors?

I have a 2024 Maverick xlt non hybrid. Is there any way to stop the doors from locking every time i start to drive? Thank you in advance.

Go to the settings menu from the steering wheel, and vehicle settings. There should be a setting for auto locks. Turn autolock off.

No, there is not. MY doesn't matter.

WHAT IS AUTOLOCK

Autolock is a locking feature that centrally locks your vehicle doors when driving.

AUTOLOCK REQUIREMENTS

Autolock locks all the doors after:

1. All doors are closed and the ignition is on.
2. Your vehicle speed exceeds 12 mph (20 km/h).

Autolock repeats if:

1. Your vehicle is stopped.
2. Any door is opened and closed again.
3. Your vehicle speed exceeds 12 mph (20 km/h).

Notice no setting for Auto Lock though.

Sorry, I misread the question and that's why I deleted the post almost immediately.
There is no auto lock mandate.
Auto manufacturers started including it as a feature in cars in the 90s. I remember it on my 1996 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. It allowed you the option of turning it off.

Something like...
1. Close all doors and place the key in the ignition switch.
2. Cycle the ignition switch ON/OFF four times ending i in the OFF position, (do not start the engine)
3. Within 10 seconds of the final cycle, press the interior driver's door lock switch to the LOCK position.
4. A single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming.

You can turn the feature back on by repeating the above mentioned.

I assure you, THEY will get in just fine. Your window might not survive, but the door being locked or unlocked won't likely weigh on you surviving or not.

This scenario is getting pretty far-fetched.

How about this. If, while having a heart attack, you can somehow successfully pilot your vehicle to a safe resting place and put it in park... consider just pulling the door latch and opening the door instead of fiddling with the transmission dial, because the truck will automatically go into park when the door is opened. Same theoretical number of motions, with the outcome you are wanting.

If you're not willing to bet on that, and you still feel like you would end up parked near a nurse who could not figure out how to break a window - you probably do not need to waste time buying Powerball tickets tonight.

There might be a way using ForScan?
Other than that, I don't believe there is a way to turn off auto lock once you start moving.
