Tried it on my non-lux, XLT Tremor and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the tip! :like:

The menu option also works on non-Lux non-keyless entry.
1 press driver door, 2 presses all doors. Or 1 press all doors.

The fob ability to change the option doesn't - must be keyless system.
Correct myself here.

I didn't get the lights flash or such that the action had been seen and applied with XLT non-lux non-keyless. And it didn't work standing right there initially testing it after a lock.

But I noticed today my normal morning 1 press unlock process, unlocked all the doors.
Checked the settings and it was indeed changed.

So without keyless fob it did change option.
Tested putting it back - works too.
Only lights I saw flash after 4 sec press were the front amber turns.
But normal lock/unlock flashes more lights.

User preference, but I prefer 1 press unlocks all. Otherwise, I found myself unlocking the driver door only, but when I would go to pick up someone, they would always be yanking on the door handle to get in.

I live in a rural very low-crime area and find all this locking/unlocking bullshit annoying af.
If you use forscan, go into the IPC and enable the autolock display setting. I added that and then on the IPC i deseclected "auto lock" so my doors no longer lock every time I put it into gear and accelerate more than 6mph

I had some hobo try and get in my car with me a couple months ago and the single stage lock kept him out lol
That's the whole purpose of having the two stage unlock, to reduce the chance of being carjacked when you open the doors. If only one door opens, the carjacker has fewer options for gaining access when you get in.

Thanks for the reminder. I usually reach for the door lock to unlock it, as soon as I start driving. I plan to have that disabled before long.
I don't like being locked in a vehicle on the hilly curvy roads I drive almost daily. If I get run off the road and down a ravine, I don't want first responders to have to first break a window, before trying to get in and extract me!

This is exactly why I like single stage unlocking!

I try and stay away from railroad yards, railroad tracks and hobos. 😁
Couldn't resist...
A hobo is a migrant worker in the United States. Hoboes, tramps, and bums are generally regarded as related, but distinct: a hobo travels and is willing to work; a tramp travels, but avoids work if possible; a bum neither travels nor works.
