If you can't make sport of yourself, you're taking life too seriously. I self reported my oil change fiasco.Sorry for your misfortune but props to you for manning up and reporting what happened in a public forum.
Since others have confessed their faux pas’s, about six weeks ago I backed into my brick mailbox leaving for work early in the morning. I dented my tailgate and crunched the bumper. Luckily, I’m acquainted with a retired guy with extensive body shop experience who fixed it up for $200.
Yes. I have only driven a Ford Pinto, Plymouth Horizon, Jeep Wrangler, and Pontiac Solstice since 1979. I have much to unlearn.Does indicate: as maneuverable and nimbal as the Maverick feels, you have to remember it is a fairly large vehicle. Sorry for your misfortune. Thanks for the reminder.
I'm still holding my breath for that first ding...I’m embarrassed to say that I just sideswiped a parked car trying to park along the curb on my residential street to take a pic of the supermoon without wires in the way. I cut over too soon
And this is why I have never owned a new car. I’m sick.
I haven’t had as much as a scratch on my cars that was my fault since the 70s.
Maybe it’s a sign of impending senility.
P.S. And the pic of the moon is lame…

I did a plastic on plastic light scuff with a shopping cart on the rear bumper about an inch, not sure if that counts, it will probably rub off.I'm still holding my breath for that first ding...
But not what you want to here from the proctologist!Like a kidney stone this too will pass.
For a second it looked like a push bar or bull bar on the Mini. I was like WTF!I’m embarrassed to say that I just sideswiped a parked car trying to park along the curb on my residential street to take a pic of the supermoon without wires in the way. I cut over too soon

In our city you have to be within 12” of the curb and the mini definitely is.I'm thinking the Mini could be parked a bit closer to the curb, and the street appears a bit narrow. Not enough to shift blame, but.......a bummer indeed.
