2024 ford maverick eco xlt awd completely stock 11,500 miles (no tow package or copilot)

I've searched around seems no one has had the problem identical to mine. Its completely random can't repeat it and the dealer says they can't trouble shoot it unless its broken

I'll park the truck come back 20 mins ect start it. Then these warnings appear
Pre-collision assist not available
Hill start assist warning
Stuck in park
Nothing seems to get it to work again just let it sit a while and it will correct its self even disconnected the battery does nothing. It just either starts operating properly or doesn't. Its done this 3 times so far. No one seems to have an answer
Yesterday 10/31/25 it was stuck for 2 hours called the dealer since they was less than a mile away and wouldn't send a tech to my location to see what was up with it. Used my app and had it towed to them. Wouldn't ya know it went back normal as it was getting dropped off so im sure ill get the well we can't fix it cause we dont know whats going on. About to the point of trading it on something different tired of getting stuck places.

Pictures is the message in the ford app for when it happens with dates I bought the truck 9/28/24 so you see its basically been doing it since day one
2nd Pic is something new the tire pressure sensor dropped out after getting delivered to the dealer idk if thats a clue to the problem or not

I have never had the stuck in park problem. That would be a major issue for me.🤬. If it happens again, I would definitely document it.
Then pursue the 🍋 lemon law 🍋 buy back. I don't have a whole lot of confidence in Ford's ability to remedy some situations.

My 23 drops random TPS quite frequently. On our fourth of July trip, it became a guessing game, which one it was going to be.

The sensors are perfectly fine. They always comeback with 20 miles.
I attributed to the cheap computers or terrible software.

Good Luck

Sounds like a real pain, I’d dump it if the problem cannot be found. I wonder if you could get a buy back through lemon laws?

If the app was given info - then you know Ford's servers were given even more info about stats at the time of issue.
Considering even the service advisor has ability to look up those things on Ford's servers for your truck (other posts have confirmed) - that's just lazy.

Now - that info may not help - but engaging Ford advanced tech support is used frequently, and that would likely be commented on if they did it.

Even if it turns out a wiring harness problem reaching the different sensors/camera involved in those different errors - that's troubleshooting wiring diagrams.
Hmm - brake control is involved in all those errors.
Hill Assist the brakes are held for a couple seconds.
Pre-collision assist needs to see control of the brakes possible by the system for steps 2 & 3.
Getting out of Park needs to see brake is pressed.

Come to think about it I ued auto hold 10/31 as well in the line at the bank. The next time I drove the truck is when it did all this, connection possible

Brake hold uses the ebrake, it's possible there is an issue with either an ABS module or the electronic parking brake itself. Worst case scenario, it's the body control module.

My motto is, if the battery is alright and the vehicle is acting haunted, scrub the ever-loving fuck out of every ground strap connection you can find, reassemble with electrical grease.

So far my battery has been good first thing they checked. Mine also wasnt part of the recall at all. I fussed about that already. I have amp and speakers installed, but it was doing this way before all that.

Get an OBDII Bluetooth dongle for $20 and pull codes right as it happens.

As was shared above, my money is on the ABS system. I severed my front right wheel speed sensor and saw very similar issues. The thing is...because the harness is wrapped in black tape for the last few inches to the sensor itself, you may have severed it and not even know it. And that connection may be on and off depending on how you park, how you turn your wheel, etc.

Dielectric grease is not conductive.
So that being said not advisable to use to improve conductivity, for preventing water intrusion and corrosion resistance yes.

I had very similar issues on day two (collision and hill assist faults) of ownership, Dealer replaced battery. No further issues.
Apparently deeply technical electrical waveforms in some OEM batteries cause disruptions with the vehicles electricals.
A simple old school load test on the battery won't reveal the problem.
Service Writer stated he had seen it many times. Assuming there's a TSB out there regarding the issue.
