Just curious. What's the age of the Maverick owners on this site? I'm 61. Any women owners? At our dealership, most Maverick owners are older (50+) and male. I think I've seen only one female Maverick owner at our dealership. I don't think I've seen any who are under 50. The Maverick seems like it would be something that would be popular with young people given it's practicality and entry level price. But the young people I've talked to personally like the way it looks, admit it'll meet their needs, but aren't interested in buying it because they seem to think it's a old man truck .

That was the same issue with Scion....target was a younger audience but ended up popular with the retiree crowd.

I’m wondering the demographics of the Maverick vs the old Ranger and comparable trucks or even the earlier Courier and its contemporaries. Seems like it may be the same people who bought the 1990s era ranger might be buying the current maverick 😅

That would be me. Bought a Courier new about 1980, then a Ranger once it was introduced in 1983. Now on my 3rd Maverick.

Here in Colorado I see equal male/female drivers, all ages. Myself I am gen X female and traded in a 24 yo Silverado. I love my little baby truck, even if it takes a few more trips to fill the hay barn. 😉

We live in an area of the South that is very big for retirees. Nearest town is only 10K people so definitely not a large metro area. Lots of Maverick trucks around in individual hands as well as fleet vehicles. The individuals do tend to be older. We know value and like to spend our money on things other than vehicles that depreciate rapidly.

65 year old female here! Love my truck. I worked in the heavy utility Construction industry until retiring. I knew I needed a truck but I wanted good gas mileage and something that wasn’t huge. Maverick was recommended by Teamsters that I worked with.
