OMFG ... I've been in these with 200hp and they're very quick ... This thing must be terrifying when you get on it 😬
It is scary how fast this car is! I've had high performance cars all my life but this one is at another level.

I was in an Uber car last year headed to the airport and had 2 hrs to waste. So, asked the driver to take me by something interesting on the way to the airport. He laughed and took me by the old Studebaker main plant in South Bend. Shocked that it is still standing, empty but...still standing.

They grew from a blacksmith shop, wagon maker to a massive automobile factory. Huge brick building that took up a city block.

This is just 3 of my other toys.

I also have an '05 ZX10R, an '88 Harley Sporty, an '82 GPZ550, an '01 325ci, and a '92 Mustang 5.0.

Hoping to downsize the fleet though, moving every 3-4 years with this much stuff is not fun.....haha

Two of my other rides. One gets 99 mpg and one does not. 2018 Honda Rebel and 2008 Shelby Supersnake.

Now THAT is a cool ride!
Yes it is! In 1993 after 20 years of Army, retired and then did this for 22 years. I originally hired with Southern Pacific (Grand Junction CO) who had merged with Rio Grande. Then Union Pacific bought it all up in 1997 I think was the year. BNSF came to town to run trains as part of a trackage agreement with U.P. and coaxed about 30 of us to turn traitor ( they wanted experienced people already trained and a very large bonus helped). There is nothing like going to work on a sunny day, piloting a 16,000 ton slow rolling coal train through the Rockies. Glenwood Canyon, Gore Canyon, Frazier Canon, through the Moffett Tunnel, 9,200 feet at apex in middle of the tunnel, 6.2 miles long, no lights. down the east side about 50 miles into Denver using dynamic brakes (think Maverick Hybrid Regen braking on steroids) Still needed train brakes applied for a good part of that 50 miles! Speed limit 20-25 mph. If you got it to over about 34 you were a runaway most likely and better to just grab your bag and jump off. I was a Engineer and company trainer, taught a lot of those folks how to get off the mountain safely. I do like dropping the Maverick into Low and feeling that baby slow down right now! Good times.

Very nice ride! Always wanted the "Judge". Never see them anymore, except occasional car show. Have not seen on one the road in LONG time. Heck, don't even see the GTO like yours on the road either! Best friend years ago had 64 GTO turquoise 389 tri-power with nitrous. About snapped my head off in the passenger seat a few times!

There is a pretty stout Pontiac following here in the Ottawa area in eastern Ontario, Canada - lots of GTO's and several 'Judges'
I drive this one as much as the weather allows between April and November - 47,000 miles in the last 9 years. I drove it from Ottawa to the OBX 2 years ago - man oh man this car loves the Pennsylvania and Maryland mountain roads!

Mine might win most boring of this thread. But, got photobombed by a Cooper's Hawk; oddly somehow this is the only exterior photo I have of my commuter car. '17 Mazda3 hatch 2.5 6MT. Fantastic little car, fun to drive, and still looks great for its age. Even has Android Auto after a $50 aftermarket upgrade.

First, Thank you for your service. ❤

I actually know about that tunnel. My friend took a tourist train out of Moab last year. It would be a dream to ride in engine like that!!! I Love trains. My dad used to take me, then my children, on old steam trains for fun.
I live in New Hampshire, but drive all over the country. Love going out west. I drive a semi so I understand the whole engine break thing on the mountains. We see drivers with smoking breaks or even on fire at the bottom, while we hardly touched the breaks. All about training.
Thanks for sharing your story!
