Sorry, I still can’t figure out the search icon on my iPhone, was going to post it along with that thread, but… Anyway got it ready to store it for winter in garage. 80 Z-28, special order latter half of 79, waited 9 months (sounds like Maverick’s for some). Getting harder and harder to get in and out of, that’s why I drive the Mav more! Time to sell!

Perhaps the British sci-fi show, UFO that ran in 1970-71? They had some rovers that were cool.

Yup ... UFO, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet etc all had cool-looking "future cars"

I sold my 1996 Ford Ranger after I got the Maverick. Nice 4WD truck but I didn't need it any longer.

I had a "project truck" going and it had a longer 6 ft bed so hauling anything long was still an option for me. I finally got it to the point of painting it this summer. I have the interior dash and rear window to do and then I think it will be time to part with it. The Maverick gets better in town mpgs and that is where I drive for the most part.

My husband and I share our rides.
Our 24 hybrid xlt Maverick, our 2025 Peterbilt 567 and our newest addition our little 94 Hijet Japanese mini truck . Until a month ago we also had my grandmother's original 77 chevy c20 camper special. Unfortunately it came to a flaming end and burnt to the ground.
