I found the same thing in this area. The inventory was low (zero Hybrids ) and the dealers were asking well more than list.

I instead went back to where I bought my F250 (Evergreen Ford in Issaquah, WA) and there had another "just perfect" experience. My Mav was ordered at the "A-Z" pricing then on offer to anyone. That was the same price that Ford employees and Ford supplier employees get.

The truck took about 3 months to arrive but it was sold at the promised price plus actual tax and actual license plus a $200 "documentation fee". I had already agreed to the extra $200 so there was no drama whatsoever when I picked up the truck. They even checked the PDU & RDU fluid levels at my request at no charge (both were full).

The finance/paperwork guy offered me a Ford extended warranty but no hard sell. I declined that extra warranty and was out of there in 30 minutes. They took my personal check for the full sale price (after running a credit check on me).

I asked that the truck have NO dealer advertising stickers etc placed on it and was told that "we just don't do that". The only advertising was on the plastic license plate frame which I just installed backwards so the letters face the truck body.

It's rare these days to find a car dealer that is committed to doing what they say they will do and follows through with actions to match their words. I dealt with Gary Joseph their "internet sales manager" and highly recommend him. He's a pleasure to deal with.

Here is some (lousy) cellphone pics of the interior. Note the rear seat *IS* the same color as the front even though my lousy pics make it look much lighter color.

I’m seriously considering going the same route as you, and ordering one. This is going to be my first Ford product ever, actually the first time I’ve ever considered buying one.

I have a prosthetic lower left leg. My foot doesn't flex so I've given up on keeping that lower door panel scuff free I'm kinda glad that it's hard plastic. 😅

Looks great! Were the Mabett mudflaps easy to install? My Mav is arriving soon and it's one of the few accessories that I don't have ready to go. (read: taking up space in my living room)

As much as I don't care for AI-generated stuff, I can appreciate the use of the imperative here!

I spent about an hour overall to fit the mudflaps and flares.

I wanted to do both flares and mudflaps at same time since they shared some fasteners. I started with the left front corner; that took me about 30 minutes as I was figuring out the fasteners and which fender flare fit where. The remaining three flares & flaps took about ten minutes each. (Mabett marked the mudflaps LF, RF etc but didn't mark the fender flares)

I used the longer fasteners provided by Mabett in the locations where the fender flare and the mudflap shared a fastener. I reused the OEM fasteners in other locations.

...and a forgotten bit of Mabett farkle is visible just to the left of the hitch pin locking cylinder:
a Rear Bumper Cover Plate.

I just can't imagine why Ford left that area to the left of the hitch receiver unfinished...it just looked like something had fallen off!

Yes the tonneau Is the hard tri-fold OEM Ford. I wanted a “turnkey” truck that had everything that I needed as delivered so I can concentrate on adding farkle that I want (but don’t need)

1st farkle was a B&W Tow-n-Stow ball mount similar to the one I use on my F250. The only difference is the shank is 2” square to suit the Mav not the 2- 1/2 square to suit the F250

2nd farkle was a Bolt (brand) hitch pin lock. The Ford emergency key (inside the fob) is used to configure the Bolt so that emergency key becomes the hitch pin lock key. The last thing that I need is another key on my keyring!

Thanks very much indeed. I'm not doing the flares, so it all seems quite straightforward.

Methinks @Bic was either a janitor or prison warden in a previous life. 😜
I suspect in a former life I was actually a mongrel dog. That's one explanation for my affinity with mongrels and for mongrels' affinity with me. We are blood brothers!

But in this life we have an F250, a Maverick, a Highlander and two Airstreams. And those Airstreams each have a lot of keys!

I installed those mudflaps a couple of weeks ago. It took me about an hour to install all 4, but 45 minutes of that was chatting with my next-door neighbor who came over to admire the Maverick.

They look great and I was ready to order some to go with my weather tech mud flaps, until I found they were $40 more than Husky’s version and weather tech also was going to charge an additional $30 for shipping.
I ended up with Husky and saved $70.
That said weather teach has a great product which I have had in several vehicles.
