I found this club online as i'm researching the right Lariat, options, color, etc...
Just saying hello, as i hope to learn from experienced owners on this site.

I'm looking to build it direct on the Ford site, so my curiousity is all around options, what i need and what i dont. Also, by the time i buy, i'll most likely get a 2026.
Of course i'll participate more after i land mine...

Welcome to the Maverick Truck Club forum from Alaska!

Please post pictures when you get your new Maverick. :camera:

If I was getting a new Maverick. It would be a Lariat Hybrid AWD with:
4K Tow Package,
Black Appearance Package,
Power Moonroof,
Engine Block Heater (I live in Alaska)
And it would have to be Blue.

Just my two cents. Also my Maverick has the above options.

I got my Lariat Hybrid about 2 weeks ago. The two options I chose were rubber floor mats and the bead divider.

Floor mats: In my line of work, I sometimes getting my shoes really muddy. Carpet is hard to keep clean.

Bed Divider: Occasionally, when I'm hauling stuff, I prefer it to not be sliding around. I feel the bed divider will help with this. It also turns out to be perfect for mounting my bike mount (see pic). No drilling into the truck bed and it's not permanently attached.

I see a lot people opt for the 4k towing. I thought about, but it's not really something I have a need for.

Suggest looking at the "Ordering, Pricing, Production, Tracking, Delivery" stack for good information, such as the 2025 and 2026 ordering guide so you know what comes with the XL, XLT, Lariat, etc and their respective options.

If you haven't already done so, suggest think about what you need and what you want to help guide your priorities. In my case, I needed 4K tow, and wanted good mileage and heated seats which lead me to the Lariat hybrid AWD over the XLT with Lux package.

Color is your choice! I like red, so I got that, but that green also looked sharp. You may want to look for how the black and white colors hold up to dirt and pollen.

Seems that most of us here ordered our Mavericks so we get it just the way we like it. Depending on your needs and flexibility, your dealer may find one sitting on a lot and can get it for you.

Keep us posted on your journey!

With a Lariat you must take AWD, so your choices then become Hybrid or gas turbo. The gas also has more use options: off-road slightly elevated ride in two options FX-4 or Tremor, or a slightly lowered Street styled truck (Lobo) made for improved handling and sportier driving (paddle shifter). If your primary use is urban, you can expect the hybrid to get about twice the fuel mileage of the turbo. Highway is much closer. Of course the turbo has a higher level of performance, but the hybrid might surprise you. If your primary goal is frequent towing of over 3600 lbs, get something heavier duty. Always get the tow package when you get AWD. Even if you don't think you need it, it is nice to have and will bring much added value at the end of your ownership. I personally, love my Moonroof and powered sliding rear window for ventilation, maybe too hot in Vegas for either of those. Save all the other adds (floor mats and bed covers) for you to source for best options and prices. The Lariat comes standard with Ford's current safety suite including adaptive cruise control and is the only option on the Maverick to get those (excepting top line Lobo and Tremor). This is just a start, as was said earlier, time to get reading! Lots of good info on this forum. Welcome and best wishes in your choices.

I went with the AWD Hybrid BAP on mine. Comfy leather seats. The adaptive cruise and lane keep are great for road trips and even driving around town. CarPlay integration is nice with a big display. It’s a great vehicle. My other car is a Tesla Y and I alternate between them.

Oh that's a great setup, I want to do the same thing but I can't figure out which front axle mount I need? There's 300 different models and I don't understand which ones will fit and which ones won't

My bikes have RockShox "35" front forks, if that helps ...

If $ is not an issue, go crazy! Some options can be removed if not to your liking(tool box, tonneau cover, etc)
(And sold or kept if resell/trade is ever considered)

Limited $ and/or a must have?
I'd go with 4k trailer package, even if you never plan to tow. Affordable upgrade that provides more than just higher tow capability and if resold/traded, opens up a slightly wider market potential.

Me.. I chose the crazy option!

I didn't get to build mine. My Chevy Colorado had just caught fire and I needed a vehicle and my wife suggested the Maverick. The Maverick had just come out and I missed the online build window, so I searched a 100 mile radius to find what I could. Got lucky and found a lux packaged Lariat Hybrid and love the all the amenities. Your decision will come down to your needs and personal wants. I suggest checking out the numerous YouTube reviews of the Maverick to help you decide. You may be happy with a used Maverick. Be sure to let us know.
