Ford said Maverick ineligible for X-Plan

A/Z-plan should be closer to something like 3% below invoice.

So the sheet they showed us at the dealership with the A-Plan / X-Plan prices had just made up numbers.

Dealer have to honor X Plan if they say no call Ford immediately and they will fix that problem quickly. If they added anything to your vehicle that you did not order you don’t have to pay for it.

They don't have to honor it unless it is in a signed agreement.

A/Z-plan are Invoice less dealer holdback and advertising (which are about 3-4% invoice) + $275 admin. I just double checked looking at another DORA posted on here that included plan pricing and A/Z was ~3.4% below invoice.

Looks like my dealer is not accepting x plan oh well. ?? My mustang club membership was a waste of 35$ Does anyone know if we can transfer membership or pins to someone who can use it??

When we ordered on 8/23 the dealer did show me a sheet with all the plans: A, X, etc.
The A-Plan was the lowest at invoice all other plans were higher.



I called 1-800-348-7709 www.myplan.ford.com A-Z Plan Pricing site and was told AutoNation was a partner with Ford but we needed a 5-character code from HR and use that to generate a PIN code which we then take to the dealer and use to view the True Dealer Invoice along with the plan discounts. The Ford person stated that AutoNation is a Partner with Ford and we should get the X-Plan.

Was the invoice prices I was shown on the DORA at the dealership and which matched the invoice price sheet below (Dealer Invoice w/holdback) not the same as the "True Factory Invoice"?

You mentioned saving $2414 on A-Plan can you break it down to where the savings came from.

AXZ Plan pricing is predetermined for each vehicle by Ford, the higher the priced vehicle the bigger the discount. The invoice that they showed you should’ve had X Plan on it, these do not.

I am DAV and have used X plan on all new and ordered Ford trucks since 2001 5 vehicles never had a cen texas Ford dealer say no
The msrp vs invoice for me is not the reason...here in Texas dealers can and do play all sorts of funkey games with add on upcharges and DOCs fees...X Plan halts that crap, at least that's been my experience. I also ask for and always get the Veterans $500 discount and any other incentives in my region at time of purchase

Dealers maybe independent franchises but its Fords name on the building and Ford trucks on the lot. Look they tried this with my brother years ago and it didn’t turn out to well for the dealer.

Not true. A dealership is NOT required to accept any A,Z, or X plans, it is totally up to their discretion. There are also some models that Ford themselves state that these plans are not valid on - the Mustang-E and F-150 Lightning just to name a couple.

Well after reading through this thread I'm still don't have a clear idea whether or not X-plan will be honored! My dealership salesman stated that they won't X-plan on the Maverick. So according to other folks on this thread that statement isn't correct and that I need to call Ford. So tomorrow, Thursday, could be the great scheduling day for hybrids. I'm going to try calling, but I don't really think I'll get through and if not I'll try the next day. Because I figure it's worth a call if I can get the Big Blue Oval to force my dealership to honor the X-plan! Although, I've heard from others that dealerships have to right to decide which plans they want to honor. The Truth Is Out There!
