Title says it all, really. In a week I will have had my Mav two years. I waited a year for it. During the wait I wondered if it was worth it to wait this long for any vehicle, but I can say now it was worth every minute. At that time I was hardly the only one waiting this long. It was very much an active topic here and, as they say, misery loves company. :blush:

All recalls have been performed and the only issue was the factory AGM battery was defective from the git go and was replaced by the dealer under warranty 6 months or so in. The auto start stop now works as intended, not that I necessarily a fan of it, but I tend to use it as a barometer of battery health. A few other gripes have been addressed as well. The screen is so much brighter and clearer now with the update. The backup camera works as it is supposed to and at night the brighter screen and LED backups make backing up at night much easier and safer.

The truck runs so strong and loves the 91 Octane E-Free gas. I get an extra 3 mpg or so with it so that helps offset a little of the added cost. More power and no more low RPM lugging is the biggest bonus.

I credit this forum for keeping me well informed and updated back in the pre ordering days of 2022. Kudos to all here. Cheers.

I ordered mine on 9/15/22 and was delivered 10/2/23... So I am right there with you on the upcoming 2 year mark. I have the same thoughts on waiting as long as we did, 100% agree it was worth it! How many miles do you have on yours now? I myself am pushing 30k. Next Dealership visit I am asking them to go over every nook and cranny to get any 3yr/36k mile warranty work used up before I get to the 36k mark. (also purchased the high end extra 7yr/100k, and my dealership also has a 20yr/200k for any new vehicle purchased from them...which I did :-D. ... but only covers basic stuff... no electronics or things like that) https://www.ewaldauto.com/20-year-200000-mile-limited-powertrain-warranty.html

Great to hear!! 9/15/22 was my first attempt to order, it was the first day as you may recall, but Ford's computer crashed and he was unable to finally get the orders in until 9/17. Things have quieted down a bit since then. LOL.

7.2K on mine. Two oil changes so far and a PTU change coming in a few days. Cheers!!

Same boring report. 2022 Ecoboost XLT LUX AWD CP360. 36,000 miles. Three years this month. Boring three years, which is a good thing.

Only issues were trivial IMHO. Four free in-driveway ECU recalls. One in-driveway free battery. Early replacement of the garbage OEM tires with Michelin Defender 2, which I love.

OTOH, I'm still waiting for Ford to recall my Maverick to remove the two extra doors I never wanted. I keep posting complaints to the NHTSA that having four doors is a safety issue, but for some reason they're not responding.

I have no complaints either. 7 month wait for me and every morning, I got up and checked where he was, thru factories, trucks, and trains. Loved every minute of it.

I've only had my 2024 for about 4 months. I drove a 1977 F250 camper special for years. Then I updated to a hybrid Escape, it had 180,000 miles when she saw her last blacktop. I liked the drive train. I looked around on Driveway.com and spotted the Maverick in Idaho, the next state over, worked with the paper work and had it delivered 3 weeks later. Love it.

Wait, hang on, you're not complaining about something? Some years long, unresolved, lack of dealer response, never ending, catastrophe that should make everyone, including yourself, swear off not only the Maverick, but Ford, Michigan, the United States, the world, and maybe, just maybe, the whole damn Universe????

There is obviously something wrong...those rose colored glasses you're no doubt wearing are affecting your point of view.

😜 :devil::facepalm::alien::poop::unsure:

*In case it's not obvious enough, this is a joke!*

No disclaimer needed. Sarcastic humor is my middle name.

What triggered this post for me was the fact my wife was just saying I'm 2 years in almost on the Maverick and I seem to love it as much as the day I brought it home. This, she claims, is a first for me. LOL.

Yep, no doubt about it, you're losing touch with reality. LOL

Just read this forum, the Maverick is giving the Edsel a run for it's money! :crackup:
