Any pointers on how to tell from the window sticker if a Mav has a GPF (assuming it was produced in "Job 3").

Thank you!

A option called “50 State Emissions” at no charge is a giveaway to have a GPF. If you want to make doubly sure you have or not - lay on your back with a flashlight and look. There are posts on the forum showing pics if you search…

Thank you. The 50 state emissions option has been on stickers since the beginning of 25 models but I know the GPF wasn't supposedly added until this summer.

Hoping there is a definitive way to tell.

I think ford started dropping the “50 State Emissions” when they started shipping more non-GPF Mavericks. My build date 3/25 build lacked the option on the sticker. Although there were ones on the lot with the sticker from Job1. Looking at online stickers at my AZ dealer - they are all lacking the “50 State Emissions” option. Best to physically check the truck though.

I have a 2025 built in January and don't see 50 State Emissions on My sticker anywhere either even under options?

That makes sense due to Ohio not being a CARB state, there's only 18 that have adopted the regulation.

Current CARB states:
California
Colorado
Connecticut
Delaware
District of Columbia
Maine
Maryland
Massachusetts
Minnesota
Nevada
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York
Oregon
Rhode Island
Vermont
Virginia
Washington

CARB states did not require a GPF in 24 or earlier years - so the “50 State Emissions” is found on most earlier Mavericks.

CARB states required a GPF starting with 2026 model years. Not sure if that requirement has been changed?

Recently the “50 State Emissions” option stickers have been omitted from recent Maverick builds - no GPF on those. Although there are many older builds that have the option listed - but also have no GPF.

Still not clear when (if?) the GPF will be added to Mavericks…

Thanks. That's what I was getting at - 50 State Emissions isn't enough to tell. They keep talking about Job 3 and all that.

It seems like there is no way to tell whether there is a GPF from the sticker. Makes it harder to assess potential trucks.

There was(is?) a GPF shortage at the end of Job2 and Ford advised the dealers to remove to “50 State Emissions” option from their builds. Only CARB state dealers were allowed to add that option…

I think EB’s arriving in CARB states will soon have a GPF and the option listed on sticker. Don’t know when(if) non CARB states will follow suit…

Looking at a sticker for one that shows 8 18 25 at the bottom of the sticker under the QR code, being shipped to a non-CARB state but still says 50 State Emissions.

So....

Right now, I don't think you can get there from here via just the Monroney sticker. Try and find a part number for ANY Ford gasoline particulate filter (GPF), either Europe or US or anywhere else - I couldn't, even though we know Europe spec petrol models have them. Maybe I'm just not good at interweb searches, maybe the GPF's are integral with the cat converter, who knows?

My WAG is it will either be physically located (a) very close to the exhaust manifold, or (b) integral with the cat converter. But that's not even a SWAG.

Bring some coveralls with you to your Ford dealer, crawl around a Job 3 unit, let us know what you find....

I would think GPF would be listed on the Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) label stuck on under the hood along with MPI, GDI, HTWC, EGR, EVAP, etc, etc if it's installed on the vehicle. That's a federal requirement.

Thanks for heads up. Still need to get hands on a vehicle to see that though.
