I was told that it would have the 50 State Emissions option on the window sticker. GPF was added to the Ecoboost vehicles with that label starting with anything built after 6/23/25.
Probably good advice. But it is confusing.

My understanding – you can have a ’25 CARB-state compliant 50 State Emission Mav with 2.0L EB that doesn’t have a GPF. Chops presented his example. Other ‘25s offered for sale may have the GPF. Does having that 50 State Emissions line on your window sticker absolutely mean it has a GPF? I’m not sure.

Without crawling under it, I’d pop the hood and see if it has a VECI sticker like this with the magic words TWC+GPF (and the Y5 Test Group) in the description:
Ford Maverick How to tell if a Mav has a GPF from the sticker? VECI_25 GPF

What I found from my EPA/CARB digging:

To waste more of my time, I rechecked all ’25 2.0L Mav’s listed in Galpin Fords SoCal inventory. They all have window stickers noting 50 State Emissions. They have window sticker invoice dates (not build dates – don’t know actual build dates ‘cause no pictures of the doorjamb sticker with that) that are generally in May, June, July of 2025. Even found one (a 2025 MY) with a Dec. 2024 invoice date – it too notes 50 State Emissions.

Then rechecked Mac Haik Ford in Houston (TX a non-CARB state). Found June, Aug. 2025 invoice date stickers w/no mention of 50 State Emissions. Found Feb., April, 2025 and even Dec. 2024 invoice date stickers that do mention 50 State Emissions. So who knows.

They didn't put the gas filter on until July production. None of the Mavericks built prior to that will have them but will have the 50 state emissions label required in those states.

I think the OP wanted to know if it was on the window sticker because he is shopping online and not able to go to the dealer to look under it or pop the hood.

According to the Ford Maverick Brand Manager, they will have the 50 state emissions on the window sticker for Ecoboost built with the GPF AND built after June 23.

There will be CARB state Ecoboost with 50 State Emissions on the window sticker prior to 6/23 but they will not have the filter. They also removed the 50 state emission option from non CARB states because of limited GPF. But they are still okay to sell to CARB states through 2025 model year.

Can a dealer communicate with Ford directly and ask if a specific VIN has a GPF?
It would be easier for the dealer to look under the hood on the label or look under the vehicle. They can get the answer quickly without waiting for Ford to call them back.

Not in a CARB state but vehicle looks to be made after 6/2025 and has "50 state emissions" on the sticker.
Was it ordered by the dealer? It should have the ordering dealership in the corner. Dealers will do dealer trades so that one could have come from a CARB dealer.

Maybe a little earlier than that as the Guy posted a picture of a Lobo above that was built on 6/17/25 and it has the GPF?

I was going off information given to me from the job 3 order guide. That might have been from Job 3 MP1. They test a few sometimes.
