In the next month or so will be replacing the OEM tires. Has anyone gone with RWL's and that can share pics? Would like to see what it would look like with the Lariat wheel.

If your Lariat has 19" tires - Ford specs an "Extra Load" (XL) tire for that size...assuming that due to the shorter sidewall, the XL gives the tire better ability to withstand damage to the rim since the OE 17" and 18" tire is a "Standard Load" (SL) tire specification. XL tire option limits the ability to find one with white lettering....which is a shame as I like RWL tires too....not impossible to find, but difficult indeed.

One other option is to make them yourself, but not sure how they would balance out...

I do not have a Lariat, but thought I'd still share with you the RWL tires I have on my FX4 XLT. I like the look.

raised white letters look good if you want an old school 4x4 type of look. some RWLs are black / unpainted on one side, like the BFG KO2 pictured above, which is useful because if you decide you don't like the RWL you can move it inside for a moderate cost by remounting & balancing all the tires.

I would do RWL on my Bronco, but not my Maverick. Doesn't really fit my theme - but it does look great on some trucks.

I think these add on letters are cool on the right vehicle. I'd suggest to the OP that if they're interested in these, then try them on their worn out tires.

If they hate them then they haven't ruined their new tires.

If they like them then they are worth double the cost.

I went with these on my Hybrid. They didn't offer 225/65/17" with this brand so I went with 235/65/17". After I made my purchase I saw Summit offered Bf Goodrich in the 225/65/17".
