I purchased a drop in bed liner with tailgate cover for my 2025 last month. Tailgate cover used double sided tape, fell off the first day in Phoenix heat. My wife looked at it a reminded me my Ranger got Line-X 20 years ago and it still looked good. New Line-X is lifetime warranty. Go get Line-X. I had it done last week with premium UV and I have a tri-fold tonneau.

Go with a spray in unless you want your bed all scratched up. Pay now or pay later. Line-X has a lifetime warranty. Drop ins get water underneath and promote rust

Got my line-x in orlando at line-x on Michigan Ave 2 years ago ( march 2023) for $ 550.00 out the door. Love it.

If you go there tell them Bobby Chapman from Cues inc. Sent you , they are very professional

Have had bedliners before. Last 3 spray in . I like spray in and bed mat so stuff does not slide around. Use Line X. Good stuff

This is expensive and invasive. Do I need to get this spray in liner? I’m using the truck for household projects and driving cross country. Also lot of sand and water from mountain bikes/kayaks.

rhino quoted me $575 with uv cost it’s +$200

line x standard $705

line x premium with uv $850

I do plan on covering bed when not in use and do I really need uv? Apparently uv coated bed can’t be repaired it needs to be stripped and redone if anything happens.

All this sounds like $ and more problems.
Get a kit from Walmart for less than $100 and do it yourself. Takes a while but gets it done

I did a bunch of research (a lot of it on this forum) and went with a spray-in Patriot Liner. Very pleased with the quality and staff at the store in Oakland Park, FL (near Lauderdale). Good price;~$550 with tax.
I was bummed to find out (ahead of time) the paint has to be scuffed but makes sense. Even if I had put in a drop in liner instead, over time dirt and sand will eventually get under a drop in liner and the the liner will move and scratches on the hidden paint would happen.

Seeing what the bed looked like in my previous truck when I removed the drop in bedliner after only a few years.

The clear coat and paint had been abraded away to bare metal in a couple of places and with the water that gets trapped, rust had started to form.

If price is an issue get a matt or a used drop in and save up for a good spray in (Line-X/Bullet/Etc.). Something that is warrantied.

That is exactly what I dreaded would happen if I went with a drop in and later removed it. Not too mention the old drop-in liner in my 86 truck was pretty darn smooth and burning hot to the skin during the summer in FL.

The UV upgrade is unnecessary on a covered bed.

It's arguably a waste of money on a modern, good quality bed liner. The only ones I've seen fade, get chalky, crack or otherwise fail are 10+ years old.

If you're not hauling sutff that would scratch the sidewalls (mulch, gravel, lumber, etc) why not just get a bed mat? Water will still drain underneath and they're around $100 -150 on Amazon.

I splurged on the BedRug Impact Bed Mat because my knees suck and it provides extra cushioning but would be overkill if you're not crawling in the bed.

Nope not gunna. Substitute the words “Spray In Sandpaper” and you will get the idea.

I used a super heavy duty Stall Mat from Tractor Supply ($50) and cut it to fit. I also mounted the left over on the tailgate. This mat can be flipped over to expose the smooth side.

I flipped mine over so heavy items can slide a little better, but I have the exact same mat from Tractor Supply
Be warned, it is heavy!
