Weight in the back / bed -- 470 lbs load ok?

Need to make 1 hour drive to get some pavers. Approx total weight is 470 lbs. Can the Maverick handle this? It's 90% freeway drive.

470 is nothing I haul 1000+ pounds all the time. Truck handles it no problem. This truck can work.

There's a sticker on your driver's side doorframe that shows the exact load capacity of your Maverick, which varies depending on equipped options. You won't find this information in your owner's manual, but you should read that too.

Here is my loads . bag of gravel weight about 800 lbs . no problem and didn't notice any performance difference .

Thank you for all your responses. Yes, I should have looked at the door sticker/owners manual, just was not thinking. New to this smaller truck and was not sure of the capacity. Got my pavers today and thanks again to all.

All good.

I put over 1,000 lbs in my bed about once a month.

If you travel at night your headlamps will blind others. Even with 300-400 pounds your headlamps will be mis-aimed.

So try to only do heavy hauling in daylight.
