New LED bulbs From Lasfit to fit Maverick

There are thousands of alternatives. Lasfit is just one company.

While true, the only ones that work with the Ford recall situation are the bulbs that require a separate resistor rather than built-in the bulb unit. Some have had success with bulbs that require removing the buds on the base part of the bulb. Many members would rather have plug n play and not get involved with extra wiring or modifying the bulb base.

That's insteresting. I got the new D series bulbs too.
My dashboard hyperflashes occasionally, but the bulbs themselves still light up.

I guess that's progress . . . sort of.
The stuff of frustration is that Lasfit announced a new LED replacement bulb that would solve all of the issues that plagued their T3 bulbs and clearly, that hasn't come to be.

Please update us on what LastFit says about using their tail lights with the switchbacks
I have the switchbacks. I love how bright they are. When I'm making a turn with my turn signal on nobody coming at me can mistake my intentions.
I've even considered buying one pack of two bulbs for the tail lights and just using one bulb on each side. Hoping to lessen the chance of a hyperflash

Were you able to do your bulb experiment? Wouldn't you need to have a bulb in all the sockets to avoid the truck thinking you have a bulb out? At one time, I had one incan and one LED in each brake unit. Worked fine until the recall.

I've given up on the LED Brake/Turn Signals for the rear taillights. I don't want to be worrying that an issue will possibly arise when I'm driving. I'm ok with the incandescent bulbs until something that has been rigorously tested and proven to work comes out. Unfortunately, this requires a lot of time (few years) to find out.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. I've already spent an inordinate amount of time with the issue. I just put back the OEMs and moved on. Might be different if I lived in an area that had more inclement weather, but I don't.

I had the original LED's in the taillights that hyperflashed, got them replaced with updated ones that only hyperflash for about a second. So far so good, I have the 2022.

The 3rd brake light replacement LEDs are trash though, all 3 of them. Don't buy those.

I've had mine for a couple years. No problems. Unless they've changed how they're made, these might be what you're looking for.

What if any of these Lasfit bulbs do work then? I was planning to buy them, but sounds like they aren't sorted out for the Maverick.

I would hold off. It does look like Lasfit has not perfected a reliable LED brake bulb for the Maverick despite their claims. PR is suffering for it.

Lasfit did get back in touch with me, and asked me to replace the left front switchback with one of the D-series tail lights, along with leaving both D series in the left rear. Unfortunately it did not solve the problem.

Here are all the configurations I tested in the left turn signal positions and with the head lamps turned on (covering the light sensor on the front center of the dash to have the vehicle in night time mode):

- Front T-4257D switch back, Rear halogen bulb x2; no hyper flash
- Front T-4257D switch back, Rear D-4257R x2; hyper flash observed
- Front T-4257D switch back, Rear D-4257R x1, Rear halogen bulb x1; hyper flash observed
- Front D-4257R, Rear D-4257R x2; hyper flash observed
- Front D-4257R, Rear D-4257R x1, Rear halogen bulb x1; hyper flash observed
- Front D-4257R , Rear halogen bulb x2; no hyper flash
- Front halogen bulb, Rear D-4257R x2; hyper flash observed
- Front halogen bulb, Rear D-4257R x1, Rear halogen bulb; hyper flash observed

Hyper flash went away and the bulbs worked normally within 30 seconds to 1 minute after uncovering the daylight sensor or switching the headlamps to Off for all configurations where it was previously observed.

I don't know why it's only an issue with the head lights on, and only win the rear turn location since the same bulb didn't have issue when in the front. Ultimately I was able to get a refund for the D-Series, keeping the backup and my T3 switchbacks that have been working without issue.

Good grief! Thanks for putting in all that time & effort. There's an hour or two you won't get back. To be clear, I'm faulting Ford and Lasfit for not doing the legwork, not you.

The only lastfit led bulbs on my Maverick that still function correctly after a year is the 3rd brake light. I’ve had to replace all others.

There are literally years of threads like this that expose Lasfit's broken promises and poor service.

The best fix is to download the free Forscan program and buy a $40 or less cable, make a couple quick and easy adjustments, and you can use any bulb you want without resistors or problems.

I choose Diode Dynamics and I've had them for about a year and 25k miles, with lots of night driving. They are perfect. But you could also use the cheapest bulbs you can find on Amazon too.

As I was saying in another post, there is an available Amazon LED Red rear turn signal/brake light which seems to do what the taken off the market LasFit bulb could not.

I have a ‘22 Hot Pepper Red Maverick Lariat. I had the lighting recall done and recently replaced the OEM 200 something lumen bulbs.

On Amazon, there is a Zonbeam brand, model 4257W WT21/7W Red LED bulb. For Rear turn signals and tail lights. The same bulb fits ‘22-‘25 Maverick, F150 and F250 trucks.

CANBUS. Plug and Play. Has an internal cooling fan. 2000 lumens. 28 watts. And NO HYPER FLASH! Hooray! Also, no heat producing resistors required. No FORSCAN needed. 4 for $100. Made in China (like everything else).

Mine have been in for about 10 days and everything works as advertised and is an upgrade from what I had. No hyper flash on my truck. (Your results may vary). A brighter and more visible rear turn signal and brake lights under daylight conditions. Noticeable but not to the extent of being blinding. I also observed the rear LED lights came on a fraction before the OEM halogen bulbs when the 4 way hazard lights were activated.

If lights like these require cooling fans and are 28 watts, they likely have a resistor built in. Early Lasfit did as well (no cooling fan) and it seems likely that heat was a major factor in their demise. I would be wary of a cheap bulb that now includes moving parts, especially to live in this type of environment. But maybe these will work out. BTW, I am suspect of these being 2000 lumens, that would make them brighter than a lot of headlights.

I'm far from a fan of Lasfit and do not believe their claims for a split second. If you search on here you will find many accounts of them failing extremely premature. A warranty is great if the company stands behind it, but how many times do you want to change bulbs? That's why I am an advocate for quality bulbs, do it once, and never worry about it again.

I do like Forscan as the fix- its a $40 cable, free software, and a 5-minute fix forever. I also like Diode Dynamics for bulbs. Out of the vehicles I've used them on, I had one that had a little flicker when I first installed it, it was warrantied out no problem, and never have had an issue with any other.
