I've given up on the LED Brake/Turn Signals for the rear taillights. I don't want to be worrying that an issue will possibly arise when I'm driving. I'm ok with the incandescent bulbs until something that has been rigorously tested and proven to work comes out. Unfortunately, this requires a lot of time (few years) to find out.

I had the original LED's in the taillights that hyperflashed, got them replaced with updated ones that only hyperflash for about a second. So far so good, I have the 2022.

The 3rd brake light replacement LEDs are trash though, all 3 of them. Don't buy those.

I got a refund on the D-Series tail light bulbs and going back to stock.
I’ve removed and re-installed my tail lights more than 2 dozen times already, trying to get the original and new versions of Lasfit led lights to work.
I really wanted bright a$$ tail lights because the drivers in my area (I-35 Texas) always drive distracted.

🤓 🤨. I’ve replaced my LASFIT taillights more than once. The last time they were supposed to to be like the latest and the greatest. I always kept my oem bulbs, but have missed placed them when I moved to OKLAHOMA. Now I just need to find the numbers for the OEM bulbs and I‘ll get the replacements, then put them in.

What if any of these Lasfit bulbs do work then? I was planning to buy them, but sounds like they aren't sorted out for the Maverick.

I have all the lights that are included in the bundle, except for the front side marker lights.
I like that all their lights are pretty bright and zero issues on them for me. Just wished the rear taillights worked out for me.

Just wanted to chime in—I've had great luck running a full Lasfit setup on my Maverick. Currently using their:
  • Turn Signal Light (T3 Series, Amber CanBus LED) – non-switchback
  • 3rd Brake Light
  • Cargo Light
  • Front Side Marker Light
  • Backup Light
All have been working solid with no hyperflash or errors on my hybrid (no resistors needed either). Definitely excited to see the new release on 5/21—hopefully it solves the issues others have been running into post-recall.

Here are some photos of mine:

You're fortunate. Most of us have been having either hyperflash or failure using the T3's

I just got these and replaced the 3rd light on our Mav (and the 2 high box lights as well...different bulb of course).

(I just edited this image, to indicate the STROBING 3rd brake light replacement.)

They come as a set of 2, but I only used one for the center overhead position and have a spare.

They fit properly, nothing to cut or modify...I like that, and things working right out of the box!

They Look and feel good quality as well. It says they dont fit our Mav, but i beg to differ...they do!

They look exactly the same as Glen Baker LLC's video shows. Several flashes and then steady on.

Cheers,

Andy
Amazon states they won't fit the Maverick because that strobe bulb is not considered an OEM replacement item. They're probably just being cautious about any misconceptions and/or lawsuits.

Bad news.

Ordered the updated set as a pre-order and they finally shipped. Installed on Monday and have now gotten hyper-flashing when using the turn signal after short drives both Tuesday and Wednesday (this morning). Both times were in a parking garage so headlights on, not sure if related or not. I will likely be returning as, at least for my specific Mav with the software update, it does not appear fully compatible.

Bulbs in question are the Red 4257 4257NA 48W 4800LM LED Rear Brake Tail Turn Signal Lights | D Series.

On a related note, the rear WT21W reverse lights are working great and much brighter than stock, will be keeping those.
That is disappointing. One as to wonder about Lasfit's quality control. Do they test these bulbs longer than 15 seconds?

You should probably check if the lights are even working!!

Old cars had a relay that clicked faster when the voltage changed from a bad bulb.

Now it's all computer stuff and the computer might not even send voltage if it thinks the bulb is burnt out, but give you the hyper flash in the dash to mimic the old school indicator a bulb is out (hyper flash).
You're right about the relay clicking faster! I had forgotten about those pre-digital days.

I found out my 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat has LED Brake lights. LED Brake lights are standard on the 2025 Ford Maverick High series.
Well, there might be our solution! If those LED's work without issue in the 2025, why wouldn't they work with earlier models?
I suppose they're available through a dealer, but I shudder to think of the price.

Good afternoon, @AutobahnSHO

So, I had checked, with my wife's assistance when I changed the rear LED brake lights and 3rd brake light, to make sure everything was working (I was going to add it in my previous post but was attempting to not write as much as I normally do).

Everything checked out.

But, you raised the question so we went back to the garage and we recorded the whole light test...and I then watched the video...so, I can now confirm in triplicate that the lights are all operating normally.

The only difference is that they are more visible now, and the hyper clicking on the cab in the truck is the only indication that there has been a change.

Here is a little example of the lights....I had to learn how to make a GIF.

Last note, when we pull our truck out for the first time every day, I do check that all my brake lights are coming as needed...running lights, brake lights and signal lights - I just watch for their reflection on the wall behind me (I always back into our garage...backing onto roadways is an unnecessary risk, even on our quiet street).

Now that I learned this new tool, I can go back to my close calls dash cam thread and actually try to add my videos to them, so, not a waste of time learning how to make GIFS and trim video's here!

Cheers,

Andy
