ran it again with 90 ethanol free. same place, same temp, same launch rpm. slower

For me its doing something different because with 91 E-Free I've been able to reduce that god awful lugging effect by 90% I would say.

I can tolerate a lot of things but that damn lugging almost ruined the truck for me.

Yes, it does feel less "restrictive" and more smooth on 91. Which is why I figured it would be faster. I'll try again after a oil change, at 2500 miles now.

I just have an XLT but I only use 91, just a firm believer that turbo = 91 even if it can use 87

Thanks, is it Bone stock besides the Different Octanes used? IIRC my 2019 Crew Cab F-150 4X4 with the 3.5 Eco Boost was a Tenth faster with 93 octane vs 87 Octane. Thanks for posting your results I would like to take my 2025 XLT AWD 2.0 EB to the Track sometime this year. If i would run a mid to High 14 i would be happy.

Yes, no performance mods. Yours should see the same times.

Yup,premium is a waste of money with our maverick. I tow a 3100 lb boat.its not needed.

Depends on where you live, forgot where i read this but altitude plays a roll or something like that

It should, mine with 91 octane no ethanol ran a 14.61 at the track.
