I just got these and replaced the 3rd light on our Mav (and the 2 high box lights as well...different bulb of course).

(I just edited this image, to indicate the STROBING 3rd brake light replacement.)

They come as a set of 2, but I only used one for the center overhead position and have a spare.

They fit properly, nothing to cut or modify...I like that, and things working right out of the box!

They Look and feel good quality as well. It says they dont fit our Mav, but i beg to differ...they do!

They look exactly the same as Glen Baker LLC's video shows. Several flashes and then steady on.

Cheers,

Andy

Thanks. I just looked at this on Amazon, on sale only $9.97, but it does not say it is a flashing/strobe bulb (see link): Link- Fanteli solid.

So then I found a different Fanteli bulb that clearly says flashing ($12.97): Link- Fanteli Flashing
It flashes 4 times in their video.

Yep, gotta read the fine print and make sure what you order is what you are in need of!

If I remember correctly, you just reach into the light recess to install this bulb...there is no wasted excess wires, that is for sure.

LOL I got blasted back when the recall occurred for saying the Lasfit bulbs weren't tested on the Maverick properly... IF they matched OEM specs they would have worked fine after the recall.

I just edited my post above, to replace the photo for the correct stroking 3rd brake bulb i installed.

Thanks for picking my error up and have a good day,

Pre orders. I'll watch and see what the guinea pigs have to say after they are available. Expensive bulbs.

This link is more specific:

Bad news.

Ordered the updated set as a pre-order and they finally shipped. Installed on Monday and have now gotten hyper-flashing when using the turn signal after short drives both Tuesday and Wednesday (this morning). Both times were in a parking garage so headlights on, not sure if related or not. I will likely be returning as, at least for my specific Mav with the software update, it does not appear fully compatible.

Bulbs in question are the Red 4257 4257NA 48W 4800LM LED Rear Brake Tail Turn Signal Lights | D Series.

On a related note, the rear WT21W reverse lights are working great and much brighter than stock, will be keeping those.

Looks like Lasfit will need to get their act together considering the very high cost of these bulbs. Have just bought the ones for the third brake and cargo light. But these were only like 20 bucks.

Ok I tried to give Lasfit another chance and they failed. Now I’m driving home with no brake lights that work.

These are the ones I got; their latest and greatest plug and play

Red 4257 4257NA 48W 4800LM LED Rear Brake Tail Turn Signal Lights | D Series

I called their support team and they are sending warranty replacements.
I’ve been down that road before, with their previous versions.

Failed as in don't light up at all or failed as in hyper-flash?

They don’t light up at all. No lights when I hit the brakes and no blinking when turn signals or hazards are on.
Had to stick my arm out the window to signal other drivers when stopping or turning!

I found out my 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat has LED Brake lights. LED Brake lights are standard on the 2025 Ford Maverick High series.

Thanks for sharing your lighting update.
I've done the same, except I put a flashing bulb in that third brake light (it flashes 3 times, then stays on until brake pedal released).
I have to say the front turn signals are super bright to the point where I thought about returning to the OEM incans so as not to blind oncoming drivers. I want others to note I'm turning, but not to the point where I'm an annoyance.
I had this issue as well. I would blind oncoming traffic (at night) every time I was waiting to make a left or right turn. I resolved this issue by covering most of the LEDs with electric tape. Now they flash at or near OEM spec.

Hmmm, I know I changed my brake lights on my 2025 (produced in December 2025) Maverick Lariat Hybrid. Mine was an early build, though. Things can change.

They were halogen of the "least expensive order".

Now my led brake lights work great with the led pulsing 3rd brake light on the back of the cab (where it strobes 3 or 4 times and then stays on solid) when the brake is applied.

I do have the what other people call "hyper flashing" indicator in the cab. But I don't care about that, as I think that makes sure I don't forget to turn off the signal after a lane change!

If they do come out with good LED tail lights that don't set off the "bulb out hyper flash", I may consider them...but happy with what I have right now.

Now, if someone could make a good quality running/brake light for putting in the hitch receiver that would be great! All I could find are ones that also flash when a signal is selected.

You should probably check if the lights are even working!!

Old cars had a relay that clicked faster when the voltage changed from a bad bulb.

Now it's all computer stuff and the computer might not even send voltage if it thinks the bulb is burnt out, but give you the hyper flash in the dash to mimic the old school indicator a bulb is out (hyper flash).
