You only get that with a non fx4 and probably some other configurations when there are no need for the bottom buttons. It's just a fill in for when those buttons are not needed.

Finally got a parking stub I could use it for the other day. Didn't have to bring it in for validation.

It failed to fit, too wide. Ugh.

the 2025 model year has a different button configuration where the drive modes have been moved to the steering wheel.
