Pretty sure the picture is just wrong. The description for XLT still shows the fold down middle with cupholders.

Sure hope Ford did not cheap out and eliminate it? It does state it's included in the order guide but it sure don't show it in the interior shots. Ford is usually pretty good about their accuracy in depictions of options. Either the pic is wrong or the order guide is wrong. Guess we won't know which until they start to roll out to customers.

Either the pic is wrong or the order guide is wrong.
The order guide is intended to convey all configurations and key options. It's compiled by those responsible for determining which trims and packages get which features.

The render is intended to give you a rough idea of what it looks like. It's provided by marketing with no guarantee that it actually resembles all of the options you've selected.

Which is more believable?

The order guide is your guide and deserves your belief unless and until photographic (not digital rendering) evidence shows otherwise.

The website also let's you add the black appearance package to the FX4, so yea, not very accurate at the moment.

It is also listing options on the Lariat lux that were removed. Grain of salt.

website is wrong. It showed the same on the 2022 build tool, because originally Ford was only going to put the armrest on XLT if you added Luxury Package. They later decided to end up just having all XLT models get the armrest, but never updated the site.

XL interior does not have it. XLT interior does.
