What is the slit below the traction control on center counsel for? Cannot locate much in the manual for interior. Just design to catch dirt? LOL

Great for holding my work ID, which I need to swipe to open a gate up with.

KenV24, you're right. I just measured it. Credit or other cards are 3 3/8 inch and the slot is 2 3/4 inch deep. I just use it at drive thru's or for parking passes.

I've worked for years to have full-assed credit, and I'm proud of all that ass.

I broke plenty of cards back when I used a leather wallet. Granted, they usually cracked the long way, but it happens.

Years ago, I had a couple (Mervyn's & Sears come to mind) that were shorter than the current standard size. Back in the days before magnetic strips, when you got a carbon copy back with you statement!
