Wireless keypads for 2025 Maverick are back in stock

FYI - I received an email today informing that wireless keypads for 2025 models are beck in stock. I ordered one and will have to drive to a dealership about an hour away to pick up and have them install.

Wired keypad Since 1991 for me.

I recieved a call, that mine was in and it is being installed tomorrow. Not sure where I want it mounted though, hoping they can just program it and hand it to me so I can figure out the best spot.

I’m going to stick it vertical on the pillar like the wired ones and order these stickers on ebay. Got the idea from someone on here. Don’t like the horizontal placement above the door handle which seems to be the default location they put the wireless ones.

I'm typing this on a wireless and keyless touch screen. You can lock your hybrid while in ready state with keypad and unlock when you get back if you want to charge your 12v.

I want one but I don't want to mount it on the b pillar (because of the new design) nor do I want it above or below the door handle. Being a hybrid I can't put it in my fuel door - I guess I could if I wanted to use the emergency release to access it but knowing Ford that emergency access doesn't have more than a few tugs in it before it snaps.

We use our keypads so much. Still don't know why Ford got rid of them.

The key is supposed to be on for the emergency release to operate is another reason not to put it in there.

I want one of these but cant justify the cost and install (programing). I bought a locking cubby to replace my xl plastic cover and plan on putting the key in a locking box inside the cubby. I figure if someone seals the truck after that they would also be willing to break a window to look for the key inside the vehicle anyway. Additionally I added a cubby so I think its a win over the keypad.
