Generally if you’re towing a load (4K lbs) routinely then you’re going to want to be in a truck rated for twice that weight.Great points, if you are towing regularly the Maverick isn't the best fit. 14mpg on a 14 gallon usable fuel tank is going to make for some pretty short range.
The Denver 100 is at 65-75 mph.Hmm, I've been regularly getting 17 to 18 mpg pulling this which comes in right under 4k.

Yeah, I always keep it at 57mph or under. The Denver 100 is at 65-75 mph.
Anything will work, till something happens then maybe it suddenly doesn't...I saw a 2008 +/- Honda Civic on the freeway today with a 2" hitch receiver and 4-way wire harness so it's being used for more than bikes or a wheelchair.
Just sayin' ANYTHING on the road just about can tow 2k.
Full size trucks are going to have similar economy pulling 4K load or more.I really like the TFL Truck channel.
They were open minded and re-did the mileage test after feedback from their first run at it, they have been very good at pointing out pros and cons of lots of different vehicles, and overall they are fairly enjoyable to watch.
This is another well-done video that highlights the fact that the Maverick can tow 4k fairly well, but it comes at a downside which is a bigger hit to fuel economy compared to a larger truck.
Yeah.Full size trucks are going to have similar economy pulling 4K load or more.
