Just wanted to share my first light towing experience with my 2025 Hybrid AWD yesterday. I was hauling my motorcycle trailer and bike to drop off for a service next week. Using the tow/haul mode, I was very pleased (to say the least) with both the power and mpg. Living in Virginia the terrain is mountainous and hilly. Hauling up and over Afton Mountain was a breeze, which was very surprising to me. I was anticipating I would get about 20ish mpg and would have to push hard on the accelerator pedal going up the mountain, which was not the case with either. There was plenty of power and I was able to easily maintain the speed limit without pushing hard on the pedal. Using the tow mode, the trip was always using the ICE and still averaged 31.6 mpg.
I remember way back when, trailering 2 MX bikes to the races in my friends 4-cylinder Jeep Cherokee and that thing struggled going uphill on even the slightest incline. These 4-cylinder motors have come a long way
Love this little truck!!
