Tire Dressing quagmire need suggestions

I used to do that but my wife no longer allows me to wash those in her machine because they leave a residue that gets on other stuff.

Just use pieces of card board from old shipping boxes, then throw them away.

I use that to get the brake dust and road grime off. then I have been using a Mequiars product that isn't a foam and is more matte in appearance. Unfortunately I threw the empty away and do not remember the name.

I think that’s what I have now. It looks great but doesn’t last long at all. Probably because of the Florida heat.

I think that’s what I have now. It looks great but doesn’t last long at all. Probably because of the Florida heat.

I don't care for that "wet" look that most of the tire dressing produce, but I do want my tires to look black. I use 303 Aerospace Protectant which provides a nice black rubber look without the mess you guys are trying to avoid. It's sprayed on and buffed off. I provides a nice look and gives great protection against UV damage. Living at 5500' elevation in the desert I need all of the UV protection I can get. I buy it from Amazon by the gallon.

So I’ve tried the one on the middle and like it but it doesn’t last on the tire. The Black Magic leaves a heavy residue. I bought Crystal based on the recommendation here and will try that next.

Cerakote ceramic tire dressing. Little shine, long lasting, does not sling off the tires for make a mess on your driveway. Goggle it, you will be glad you did.
